Default Friday the 13th foal! needs a name.. Picture Added to original post

Our second foal of the year, a very curly silver dilute colt was born today! somehow it seems fitting

Sired by my ASPR stallion and out of one of our best Curly mares (she previously produced a gorgeous Sempatico colt for us pictured in Silverwood's foal gallery)

My breeder prefix is SportNCurls (or SNC) and I need an S or M name.

    Any other "lucky" foals today?

He's had the misfortune of earning the knickname MOOSE!

If you want to avoid calling him Jason because of your husband's name, you still have a lot of movie related options for barn names:

    Voorhees - Jason's last name
Ari - the first name of one of the actors who played Jason Voorhees
Kane - the best known stunt-man who played Jason Voorhees
Victor - the name of the man who wrote the screenplay

    More about Jason Voorhees: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason_Voorhees

As far as registered names, you could make a really subtle joke and go with SNC Hockey Fan or SNC Hockey Maniac

from Triskaidekaphobia which is fear of Friday the 13th...from the Greek Tiskaideka...means 3 plus 10

LOL, congratulations on your "lucky" colt. Love the name Superstition or Superstitious. My 2005 filly was born at 10:13pm on Friday the 13th. Her mother was an April 1 (Fool) baby. My girl's barn name is Jinx. It so fits her precocious personality.

    Default We had one TOO!

Our oldest Mare Tango, the one whom our vet told us numerous times was NOT in foal just gave us a BIG brown colt, with long legs at 5:30 tonight. This is her last foal so it's pretty profound that she foals today. He is by my stallion Miracle.

    His name is Timeless Miracle.

Default Not a Friday the 13th reference but,

I had a dearly loved racehorse whose name was Tarnished Treasure. Might be good on a yummy ghost grey colt.
