The Friday results are now posted on Dressage Daily.
I saw some nice (and not so nice) rides there yesterday, and the scores reflect that. Except for the wind, the weather has been very nice for this time of year - one of the few early season shows at Lamplight that I can remember that has not had a lot of rain.
That was my first time at Lamplight (spectator). Beautiful weather (except Sunday, brrr). What a nice venue.
(Brag warning) We were there to watch Windsor, my trainer's (she'd the owner) six year old mare. It was her first show and she was such a good girl! She's only been undersaddle for a year and it shows in her development compared to the other six year olds (I personally am dying for info on the grey mare Solei, if anyone has any--I LOVED her) but all in all everyone was very pleased. Basically the Friday spokesperson/Judge said of Windsor, "very interesting mare" and the overally commentary was that if she was in the five year olds she would be awesome, but not quite there in her dev. for the six year olds. She missed the highscore by .4
The judges were especially complementary of Solei on Saturday (they added the six year old finale test again at a different trainer's request and several horses were ridden in it although I don't believe it was a qualifier). The judges specifically complemented her lovely thorough training and preformance. I can't remember the other comments--all of the six year olds were lovely.
