Default Connemara fans new Gun Smoke filly tonight!

Connemara fans, I have a brand new *Gun Smoke filly tonight out of my ISR/Oldenburg NA approved Arabian mare, Cinnamon. I'll get pictures up a few days or so. But for now I've been kind of quiet holding my breath waiting for this baby. She looks like she might be a buckskin (dun). And she's magnificent and very strong. Any other *Gun Smoke babies out there? He went back to Ireland last summer but I know they were breeding him before he left. I'm guessing I got one of the last foals of his born here in the US.

My mare is being a very attentive mother despite that she has not yet passed the placenta and is in a bit more discomfort than usual. I have a vet coming out to give her some oxytocin.

Congrats on your new *Gunsmoke Foal. You can send in foal announcements to the ACPS webmaster and they will be posted on the weekly news.

You can see *Gunsmoke here in his new home back in Ireland.

Congrats Looking forwards to Pictures of your new foal. We had a lovely *Gunsmoke filly out of our Premium Imported Purebred Connemara Mare *Glenormiston Amelia last season. She was/is the apple of my eye and is doing fabulously with her new owner. I am very lucky that the filly stayed here in California and I get to watch her grow up

We have bred several approved Arabian Mares to our stallion (ISR/Weser Ems Licensed Stallion) Wildwych Eclipse this season and are looking forwards to the results of those crosses. The Connemara x Arabians I've seen have been wonderful riding horses/ponies!

My Conn/TB mare Lotty is in foal to him also, due in a week but not looking like she's in a hurry. She is a full siser to BlackPoints Tilly Go Bragh

I'll be putting her stall cam up on marestare soon, watch for Bluebird Hill

I'm a proud owner of the filly goodpony was talking about. Here she is, at approximately 1 yo:

She is one of the sweetest pony I've ever owned. Congratulations for your filly!

Great to hear about the neat Gun Smoke foals already out there and to come!

Finally I have some pictures that a friend took and posted to a free website to share with you.
