Unhappy Rough day.. One went over the bridge far too soon.

    Hi guys,

I don't really have a whole lot to say.

The horse I had ridden in the two clinics with Jimmy died today in a freak barn accident. No one was at fault. Just bad luck.

He went quickly and I wish I could say I held strong, but I didn't. I was very emotional for a horse I have barely known since January.

Please just hug your horses. He was only 5.

Lad is fine. This wasn't him. He didn't understand why I was trying to hug him so tight, so he bit me Damn horse.

I loved watching your videos of the clinic. He looked like such a nice, talented, fun-loving boy. I'm so very sorry for your loss--I can easily see how you became so attached so soon.

I am sorry, I think most of us have been there in one way or another. It HURTS! Especially when you lose them suddenly.

I watched my gelding slip and shatter his leg after 7 years together

Hugs to you.. times does heal, and it sounds like you have other horses to love on... that helps too..

My friend just lost her horse of a lifetime. I had never seen a horse die. You are not alone *hugs*

    I am so sorry.

He's in a better place now, doing Jimmy's grids anytime he pleases.

So sorry. No words can really help, but know that I feel for you. And how wonderful to have felt such a love in such a short time. Hang in there.

    What Reed said.

We've been there too. It's been 8 months. My son still cries.
