    Default DESPERATE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Northeastern MD, 1 TB in desperate need of new home. Divorce forces me to disperse imediately. 19 yr old TB mare. Sweet broodmare, easy keeper, sound no vices, could be ridden. Need to relocate forces me to move these horses by Feb 1st. Will have no choice but to bring them to New Holland next Monday! Please help she is a good loving animal not deserving that fate!!!!!!

UPDATE: I am so thankful for the number of replies I recieved. The 2 younger horses found a wonderful home w/in 24 hours!!!!! It is truly amazing how many people out there care. Thank you all so much. The older mare is safe for now. I have moved her down the street to a friends house where she can stay for a couple weeks. If anyone has room in their hearts and barns for this girl please PM me. Thanks Again!

Default Anyone know of good affordable shipping heading north...

...from Warwick MD to Charlotte VT or somewhere near there? I am checking into commercial transport as well, just thought it would be worth posting. We are close to the NY boarder (with a lake in between...)

    Talking Older Mare

I just wanted to let you know we just got home with the gelding and 4yo mare. They are INCREDIBLE!!! My daughter is in love. Her trainer has the gelding and we brought the mare home to our place.
The horses are in great shape, healthy, happy and exactly as described.

If anyone has the room I can tell you the last mare is healthy, and very well cared for. You won't be sorry. If we had a bigger trailer she would be here with us (we only had a 2 horse). Unfortunately it was a 17 hour round trip and we can't go back for her.

My daughter is looking forward to many years of fun with both horses.

Thank you so much Eileen. We wish you all the best and we would love for you to come down and visit anytime!!!!

    Default Happy and Sad

while I am glad these horses are safe... I am VERY sad as I had been told I could pick up the gelding on Saturday and had arranged commercial transport for him to come home to VT. I was so excited, and than so sad this morning when I found out he was gone. A lot of good will went out to get him to a good home in VT. And I took menta ownership and feel like I am missing a horse, very sad. I jut wish things had turned out a bit diffrent. I know I should not be going on like this...

    Secretlink

That's too bad, I know you where really happy about getting the Gelding.

    BUT

    http://www.canterusa.org

Has listing of REALLY nice OTTB's who for many time is running out. Prices vary but many are for free to a proper home.

I saw one yesterday a super nice looking Gelding. List for $1000. then an URGENT msg was listed that" he has to go sooner than later" So I called but the trainer said he GAVE him away to a TB Rescue.

    Thank God, I thought

So if you want a saddle broke but green good looking horse give them a peek!
You will be surprised to see what nice horses are available
