    Default Need NSC & opinions/suggestions on new feed

    Anyone know the NSC/calorie count for these feeds:

    "Horse Feed" Yep, that's what it's called -- obtained through countrysideorganics.com. If anyone has used it, that would be helpful, too.

    To make it easier, here's the description & ingredients.

    Crude protein, minimum ..................................... 14.00%
    Crude fat minimum .............................................. 3.00%
    Crude fiber, maximum ........................................ 15.00%

    INGREDIENTS
    Organic Oats, Organic Barley, Organic Field Peas, Organic Rice Bran, Organic Alfalfa Meal, Organic Flaxseed, Hydrated Sodium Calcium Aluminosilicate, Dried Organic Kelp, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Sunflower Oil, Shell Flour, Yeast Culture, Selenium Yeast, Roughage Products (Rice Hulls), Calcium Carbonate, Zinc Methionine Complex, Manganese Methione Complex, Copper Lysine Complex, Cobolt Glucoheptonate, Dried Lactobacillus Acidophilus Fermentation Product, Dried Lactobacillus Casei Fermentation Product, Dried Bifidobacterium Thermophilum Product, Dried Enterococcus Faecium, Vegetable Oil, Dextrose, Dried Trichoderma Longibrachiatum Fermentation Product, Dried Aspergillus Oryzae Fermentation Pruduct, Dried Aspergillus Niger Fermentation Product, Bromelain, Dried Rhizopus Oryzae Fermentation Product.

    Likely pretty high with oats and barley the 1st 2 ingredients. You would have to contact them directly.

    You could email the company. They would probably know the NSC.
