I'm not worried about "testing" - we aren't in any level of competition. =)
My 7 year old mare has been diagnosed with hock arthritis. We are injecting her hocks on Monday, and our vet also recommended a polyglycan injection once a week for four weeks then once a month...

I get mine at valley vet - use it for the dogs occasionally if they get into something and get the runs. =)
It's not that she doesn't give to the bit, she's actually an excellent horse, but we've tried a variety of different style bits and this one she seems just more comfortable in, less likely to play...

Woo hoo! Was having a hard time finding a turnout for my weanling that wouldn't break the bank! Yay!!! $34 is a good deal (and they had the correct size!)

I've recently gotten alfalfa cubes for both my mares, a 6 year old and a 6 month old. I've been soaking them for a couple hours before I take them out there in the evenings as kind of an "extra" on...
I used a PP on my mare for the first time back in March, no ill effects and she brought her weight back up - our vet recommends worming four times a year and a powerpak is one of the recommendations...
They're free, so I thought I'd give them a shot. =)
I work at a Doggie Daycare and we have some "shampoo bars" that never sell up there and I was thinking of trying them out on my horses. Wasn't sure if it is ok to use products formulated for dogs -...
