In light of all the negative news lately, I'd like to curl up with an uplifting movie or book and would welcome any suggestions. I'm looking for something heartwarming, although...
Really? I was taught in Catholic school that all family members who had passed would be there, as would animals.
Again, I think organized religions often turn people away from God.
I like that, SendenHorse. Thanks for posting!
It's ironic that the name of this thread is "for those who believe in God" and yet many of the responses are clearly from people who do not believe in God and want to blame Him for all of the bad in...
Same here, SmartAlex. I went to Catholic school for six years and it was the same thing. It's a shame, because I think that turns many people away from God.
Ahh, see, I took that as meaning that we get to know God through Jesus and living the way He taught us (do unto others, etc.) - rather than the literal interpretation.
I have a strong faith in God...
That's what some *religions* say, but where in the Bible does it say that?
With all due respect, I do not really understand this. Even the best parents cannot stop everything bad from happening to their children. Bad things happen because we are given free will. God does...
Lions are getting close.
She is disgusting.
It's chilling that many serial killers began their "careers" by killing animals. It's a similar personality type.
Yes, the animals she murdered - some of which are near extinction.
Has anyone seen the latest - that Sabrina woman posing with all her dead animal victims and talking on TV about how she feels such a "connection" to the animals she kills?
Sounds like she's...
That is sadly true, but again, not God's fault.
While it may seem as if there is more evil in the world now than in the past, I do not believe that's the case. Just start reading the Bible and take a look at all the evil that occurred back then....
Pharoah is just an incredible animal.
He looked like he could have won a pleasure class afterward. Just a calm, cool customer.
He exudes class. We're so lucky to be able to watch him.
She's a special filly. Congrats to all who know and love her.
Snowman: The $80 Champion. I was so excited to read it, but could not get past the first chapter or two.
I agree. The best showers I've attended have been at someone's house and very low key.
Nowadays, it seems that many are out to "outdo the Joneses" by having a shower at some fancy restaurant or...
[QUOTE=red mares;8189509]My PT loves cross fit - it keeps his place in business. He does do it himself, but seriously he gets as much business from CF as he does me.
That's what both my PT...
For the past several years, cardinals fly in front of me when I am driving at least once a week (usually more often), particularly if I am feeling insecure or anxious. It is such a great blessing,...
<<Rule number one of writing, is not to define something by repeating the noun you are referencing in the definition.>>
Yes! That was the first thing I noticed as well.
I think you are probably right. The injuries are so common that they have a physical therapy office on-site at the gym, and it is always packed. :(
Maybe I should try another, but now I am afraid....
That is AWESOME!! Good for him! How nice of you to support him too!
I started doing it for a few months and enjoyed it, but after the third injury both my doctor and physical therapist told me not to do it anymore.
