I believe SmartPak is participating in the event, and they offer free shipping on most helmets. Free return shipping as well, if you need to exchange it for a different size.
It's almost here.
Or tell the braiders you know.
My guess would be A.) Schooling decoration, and B.) You need some sleep.
I was at WEF all winter, and I saw people with the yoga mats, but I never saw one used to paint feet. I would guess...
Off topic, but....
What?!? Where have you seen this done??
The USEF equitation rules have included a line like this for as long as I can remember:
"To fill a class six (6) competitors must complete the course (five in Alaska and Hawaii)."
I'm so glad to see that so many people grasp the concept of not covering the number with the bows.
As a judge, I don't care at all if a child has her hair up or down. I do care a lot if I can't...
I still own my full chaps with fringe, but they've been sitting on the shelf since the first day I rode in half chaps. I got the half chaps, tried them on, put them away for a year or two because...
The splints shouldn't kill her in the division, but they won't exactly help, either. The horse's overall type and quality are usually bigger factors than a small splint or two.
I thought that was a different horse on a different thread- the one that ended up in Gulfport by mistake.
That was a great one!
For sure, the favorites need to be updated. Only a couple are within the last five years. The rest are much older. Surely we've had some worthy candidates since then??
Woody's in Wellington. Hands down the best, and as old school as they come.
Ask Naomi. Naomi knows all. :)
If it was under USEF rules, the round is not scored until the tone sounds, and the horse crosses the starting line.
SUBCHAPTER JP-6 SCORING
Anyone who thinks the winners are doing it wrong is certainly free to show in the derbies and clean everyone else's clock, while demonstrating the correct technique to prepare the horses.
I know the class starts at 10:00, with about 24 entries.
I think Trump will say so many other ridiculous things by the time that horse show rolls around, this will be water over the bridge by then.
Jeff has been producing winners for decades. Whenever I see him, he is always very friendly and pleasant. :)
I just saw the date announced for International Helmet Awareness Day, when many tack shops offer discounts on a variety of helmets. It will be Saturday, August 1st this year.
Great to see the hardest workers at the show getting some recognition. For those who missed it:
WEF is already drawing spectators. They often have a big crowd there for the Grand Prix classes on Saturday nights, and many of them are not horse people.
I think Justified also scored 100 at a show some years back.
Are the hunter rounds available online somewhere on demand?
Like anything else with horses, it can be done well. Or not.
People who take it easy on the horses and just use it as an opportunity for the right youngsters to get off the farm occasionally and...
A horse with too many career options- that's a good problem to have!
Good luck with her, whatever you decide to do. :)
