Oh I so hope someone gets that puppy and let's COTH know. I'm way too far away to help. :(

Donna Luna, (Del Piero x World Cup I), was confirmed in foal to Diamond Stud last week. She will be rechecked next week for a heart beat. I'm pretty sure that I'm done for the year.

I'm jingling like crazy for your mare's complete recovery!

Thank you so much for that great report, and congratulations on having the champion foal in such an outstanding group.

At a GOV inspection I attended, a 1/2 Arab mare, in the MMB, produced a small foal. There was a discussion about height, and the owner of the mare was told that she should be in the Wesser Ems book,...

Thanks for posting the results. :)

I just got back from Spruce Meadows where I saw Salito. He is certainly the type you are looking for; he is a smaller, compact stallion and quite elegant. He has been very successfully used for...

What great news! Best of luck to David and Falsterbo in the selections.

I was bucked off and was finally diagnosed with two full thickness tears of my RC. The buck-off happened on Oct. and I had surgery in December. The orthopedist told me that the longer surgery is...

His trot wasn't half bad either. ;)
My friend, a lover of horses and a rider, fell totally head over heels in love with RB.

My husband mentioned something to Rascalino's rider about breeding mares, and he commented that Rascalino had bred 600 mares this year. Whether he actually bred that many I have no idea, but clearly...

I just got back, and what a super trip it was, with the Celle stallions and the show jumping. I absolutely loved Hochadel, and talked to Dr. Christmann a bit about him. He said Hochadel is very...

Arkansas is the damsire of Escudo I and II. Both of those stallions are very successful, with many accomplished offspring.
A few years ago I was looking at horses in the Calgary area, and met a...

That is what I do too. I love the Chron. of the Horse print stallion issue, and I also love seeing the newly minted German stallions, but in the end, they all have to go through the registries I use.

I tried a patch job with a saddle of mine, and it lasted about two weeks. If the seat is torn in any area that gets stressed, a patch doesn't work.

I have a small, private barn and I have never advertised. My boarders have always come via word of mouth, and even with that, over the years there have been some "interesting" people here. ;) I...

Seats are expensive to replace. It cost around $400 a few years ago, and hopefully hasn't gone up. http://www.dutchessbridlesaddle.com/ in NY state does a wonderful job of seat replacement.

I have used Equine Express to haul from CA to upstate NY. I was very pleased with the service and condition of the horse when he arrived. It was about $1500 then, but it has been a few years.

She is just lovely, and the kind of mare who should be reproducing. You shouldn't have any trouble getting her in whichever warmblood registry you want. With her quality and size, you have many...

The first season, I was too hung up on the fact that there were generous liberties taken on the books, which I have read and thoroughly enjoyed. I thought the second season was good, but still, I...

Oh, I love monster Kittehs! The little tyke must have just needed a good breakfast and a nap; I'm so glad she is eating and acting spunky. Another big smile from me! :)

I love winter clothes
I love short days and long nights, by the fire.
I love woolly horses
I love Christmas
Last year we even had snow for a few days, and I loved that, too.

You know, if you have 12 months to get 50% of the purchase price back, I would keep him. I don't think I could return that pup, knowing he would be euthanized, for what may be nothing more than a...

My first big smile of the morning!

Please let me know how she does. Hopefully she thrives!
