The younger adults is extremely competitive. At least it has been in years past. The older adults, not as much. Both seem to have just a couple of riders on multiple horses competing against...
Not necessarily. Many people trade in other brands to get a new Antares. So he may have several other brands used.
Many Canadian sellers sell in U.S. dollars. ;)
The Equine Canada results are absolutely not to be relied on. My horse's best shows aren't even listed for him. I wish they'd just stop trying to do this. So misleading.
Well, I also would never go looking for insurance just because my horse was for lease. My horse is insured no matter where he lives.
I would never allow this to happen on the horse I owned and leased out. Never. Mortality insurance is a must. If done the way suggested above, the lessee is the beneficiary if the horse dies? No.
There is a ton of information on Rate My Horse Pro.
I'm also in Canada and I've never even heard of ACTH. It's not because I haven't been exposed to the BNTs at A shows either. Because I have spent a good deal of time "back in the barn area"...
I clicked the link and couldn't figure out what you were talking about. It just looks like a gossip site. ;)
The tickets were available on the 21st and there weren't many. Gone in less than an hour. I got 2. :)
The cheapest are $135. The ones that were available yesterday were...
A block of tickets for Saturday were released yesterday. I subscribed to get emails but nothing was announced. The tickets all seemed to be in the SW section, so not the best but unobstructed view....
I've never boarded anywhere that didn't ask for proof of liability insurance.
The quality of the facility has absolutely nothing to do with it. If my horse kicks out your car window while going...
There are A shows combining pre-children's with pre-adult. Happens all the time when there aren't enough to fill either or both.
www.runningfox.com has them on their website
The Stubben is cheaper than the Sprenger, I believe. It does exactly what you are describing. Didn't work for me either and I sold it but it is what you are looking for.
It looks like the post claiming to have "partnered" with SmartPak has been removed from their Facebook page. CWD was still there last I looked. Hopefully SmartPak asked them to remove it.
And now the barn has addressed it on theirs.
Reading the owner's bio also tells me that she has earned several post secondary titles in business. You'd think she would know how to get IN FRONT of...
My thread was really just asking how others feel about the whole YouTube as a witness thing.
SmartPak has responded on their Facebook page saying there is no sponsorship or endorsement.
I feel terrible for the little girl who brought her the second whip. And all the others who have been taught how to care for horses by her.
If you look at their Facebook page you will see that they also recently partnered with SmartPak.
This is what I was posting about in the thread "how much blame... video... not intervening."
Reading the bio of the owner on her website is a jaw dropper. She started riding in 2006 and decided...
I don't think so either DDD. But I have seen comments asking why that person didn't intervene. That isn't a question I ask because I really do think that in this kind of situation, getting PROOF is...
The situation that prompted me to ask the question has three videos on YouTube. They have been shared widely (I'm not sure if there's a thread here or not).
The horse isn't going to die at this...
