Wait, I'm confused. Is this actually a thread about some other thread on some other board that not everyone can see?
that's not possible. Mine is MORE perfect than yours. I just know it.
Ok, that's fine.
I meant that you wouldn't be a boarder in my imaginary stable because you seem to have comprehension issues and a propensity to jump to conclusions. Folks like that cause a lot...
I wrote a simple 5 word sentence.
I wrote nothing about it being OK for anyone to go into any horse's stall at anytime they want
If I ran a boarding stable, you would not be my client.
Yes, I have read the thread. And it is now filled with justification for the anger. Now, it turns out the person who went into the stall has done SO MANY other inappropriate things at the barn. ...
Sounds simply selfish to me. Don't touch my horsie! Disguised as concern for safety.
never mind. I deleted my post as I see the OP is from 2010!
What is that? your knee? your shoulder? or something else???
Right--all newer tack I've seen has all been synthetic stitching. However, almost all of the tack I'm using is very old--well over 20 years.
I have only used neatsfoot oil on a few occasions. As...
I use Lexol on everything. It does not rot stitching. However, Neatsfoot compound will rot stitching. Pure neatsfoot oil only!
cripes! I should have read ALL of the posts..... carry on....

I ordered 2 turnout sheets from them a couple months ago. Reasonable prices and I got them quickly. I think I found them when shopping through Amazon.
that's not good news. Sorry to hear it. I take it that it is more than just ulcers? Is she no longer able to be ridden?
Don't get your directions mixed up! Valley Forge Military Academy is in Wayne, PA. Valley Forge National Park is in Valley Forge, PA
thanks for the info. My sweet Dispatcher was not much of a race horse, but he's turned into a lovely riding horse!
I have a bit of an off topic question. There was a horse named Riker racing. I believe he was in the race that Nyquist won.
the horse I ride, Dispatcher, has a full brother named Riker, born...
I don't too much about the gaited horses. but they all walk, trot, canter. Although I have read that some pace, instead of trot.
A trot is a trot, and a lope is a canter, no matter what breed of horse is performing the gait. They are natural movements of a horse.
what does WRT (in the title) mean?
absolutely agree! I also have an American Shorthair, classic Silver Tabby. Sweetest girl EVER. Big open expression, playful, affectionate, beautifully marked.
They have short, dense coats....
Is this in any way related to the stories from Florida about the slaughtering and partial butchering of horses in their own stalls, and in their fields? As I recall someone was caught. They had...
is that the definition of Friesian horses on Wikipedia?
well, yes it is rude to say "your horse is ugly" But when someone mentioned halter horses, I thought, no THERE is an ugly horse. But I wouldn't say that out loud. It would be more like, " oh my!"
I'm so excited--my 3 litre jug of Lexol arrived Saturday. The bridles will also be SO excited!
