Keeping a Lipizzan white isn't *that* hard. Seriously.
Use pellet bedding. Clean it at night, before bed time. Sift through it to remove the manure, and totally remove the wet spots. Fluff...
You're asking how you can work in the US illegally?
The QuitKick that alterhorse posted does work. I have one. Yes, it is pricey, but it's worth it.
I have a viscous kicker who has demolished the wall of her stall at least 4 times. I've tried every...
A lot of men think their breeches make them look "gay" and "unmanly", that's why they suffer to wear jeans. Silly gits :)
Can't stand jeans for riding, myself. I wouldn't let anyone use my saddle...
At least you explained your reasoning and weren't trying to be insulting :)
Someone else said long girth -26", which still wouldn't work for me as that would put me at a 28" for my saddles. I've...
But wait -- you got to have the saddle on hand to TRY ALL THOSE GIRTHS.
What's your point?
I don't have much choice either, I have T-Rex arms.
There is no need to try on all sizes of girths.
Get a measuring tape and MEASURE.
Not really. Not everyone has multiple girths to try and the OP obviously doesn't. Why waste time and gas money driving to the tack shop X times doing that?
Just measure it and buy the correct...
You guys are lucky.
Last time I posted a couple of things on Craigslist I got 53 of these types of emails:
Included with each email were two or three shots of a female teenager in various...
Yah, several of us have posted corrections to this type of thing, but no one seems to be listening :)
If I did that I'd end up with a 34" girth and that's WAY too big.
Wut? Where is Dollar?
Which really doesn't answer my question. The knee is a large area. What part of the knee are you saying one should use?
Seriously. Why post something like that without an explanation? Why should anyone avoid Mary Flood?
Great, but you're not getting away without telling us what brand of saddle you bought :)
Oh, and further to girth sizes, my mare takes:
52-54" Duett Foxhunter AP
28" Ortho-Flex dressage
OP never said anything about her horse bolting. A one rein stop is an emergency measure you use for just that purpose.
A "spiral" is a specific exercise, a one rein stop is not. They are not the...
Which is why it really depends on the saddle and how long the billets are. You really DO need to measure with a tape while the saddle is on the horse. Don't guess or you may end up wasting money.
I agree with Rabicon. As for the sitting, I wasn't sure if that is what you were doing or not. Until your trainer comes back, I would try to avoid the sitting trot, as it explains your chair seat....
I know you aren't in a dressage saddle as yet, but those feet really need to come back under your hips for proper balance. You're pretty much in a chair seat in the photos and you'll find...
Consider Mary Flood if she has any schoolers. She's a very well-known trainer and a lovely person.
I put the machine on "small load", delicate or hand wash, and add as per the instructions on the bottle. Usually one to two capfuls. Mix the water around before you put the pad in.
Dry flat and...
Okay, you guys are confusing me with this "knee" stuff.
I ride dressage, but I have done two point and still do it if it's necessary.
I was taught that you don't use the knee, but the area...
That is not a spiral. That is closer to a one rein stop.
A spiral is a canter on a 20m circle that gradually gets smaller and smaller and then larger, and larger, back to the 20m.
