Agreed, 60 seems a little excessive. Perhaps in the viewing area, but not for the barn/arena. My last barn was heated, stalls and areana, but it was kept at 40, which was extremey comfortable when it...

For my ottb, lots and lots of hay, don't be afraid of alfalfa too, and low-starch grain with a topping of Ultium-type performance grain did wonders. A LOT of riding on top of that and he was rippling...

I don't think he needs a wide, I currently have a medium tree saddle, and its just a bit too narrow for him. I think the next time the saddle fitter is in town I will have to have her stop by :/

Thank you, I will make a stock pile of towels at the barn!

Thank you so much! Cheaper is always better, but I am looking for something in the $300 range. I basically need a schooling saddle that I can show locally in. I really appreciate the tips!

I am currently riding a large Trak gelding who needs a wide tree saddle. I own a medium tree saddle and I can't afford really afford to buy a new saddle, but I don't want to ride him in something...

Good evening!
I am currently working a horse who lives outside 24/7. He has a nice, fluffy, thick coat and will not be clipped.
