The rescue that took them in has posted some truly awful photos of the horses. Just pathetic.

I would guess that its sort of a maintanance type workout, especially if you're doing it day after day and have built up the stamina enough that it comes pretty easily.

    To me, its like taking...

I have edited the title to "Sequoia" to maybe get a few people who have experience with the Sequoias. Thanks all! I really do appreciate the comments, pm's, and advice!

Following this... I have the one the OP described and I experience the same issues with it. Its sturdy, that's for sure. But its fumbly and the stupid kickstand gives out sometimes.

This is what my husband said when I showed him the thread. He was really wondering why people would say the Sequoia would not be able to do the job, because the Sequoia is literally the same frame,...

    Towing with a Sequoia?

Hi all, I'm asking this for my husband. We currently have a Toyota Tundra that I tow with, but my current econo-car is reaching the end of its life, and instead of having a truck AND a car, we are...

I think here is where we are all kind of shaking our heads...

You said "Going into another horse's stall is not appropriate. It's a safety issue. There are rules about this"

    Then later you said...

I'm shocked at how many places don't have hot wire or coated wire on the inside of their fences. Having wood fence installed is super expensive. The hot wire is the cheapest part. Our 2 acres was...

My horse is the same way. He's been barefoot his entire life and its only gravel that he has an issue with.

How can the details of how he went from a researcher's care to this emaciated state be so unknown/fuzzy???

I completely realize that there is no way to 100% ensure that a horse has a soft landing,...

I only have experience with a mini, so I can only speak to that.

I love having a mini around. He doesn't take up much space, his stall is a breeze to clean, and he's generally a hoot. He's like...

I've let them sit for up to 24 hrs in winter using tap water.
A plug in kettle is a godsend in this situation. 5-10 min of soaking and it fluffs.

I find myself pumping when I need to push my horse forward. Which pumping will not accomplish. I find that really working on having my horse responsive to my leg really makes it better.

I have, but my property is just a barn and pasture. No ring, and trails are accessed up a road. I thought about it, but I don't think the hassle is worth it.

Use caution when ordering helmets online

So, I recently ordered a GPA Titanium in Chocolate (swoon!) for a great price. I was so excited to receive it - for three days it said it was out for delivery, only to be disappointed at night.

  21. Managing the farm work when you can't lift

So, I have Crohn's disease. I've had it for over 15 years, so I am very well versed in not always feeling good. That's not the problem - I'm never feeling 100% and I've gotten used to that.
