Why did this happen?
Sounds like it may be on back order? Have you called?
I can't tell where this horse is located.
Which city & state?
I agree. Find a good temporary place for the horse with your top 5 wishes and go from there.
Get references from vets and farriers that go to the barn. They are typically honest and may even give...
I boarded at an elderly woman's home for about 6 months, but was only able to come out about once every week or two. She called me several times a week about 'problems' like my horse was needing a...
We had a mare that had wheat allergies but never knew it till she was about 10 years old when we had her tested. Changed her diet and she was a healthier, happier horse.
I'd vote on getting the...
Sounds like you are on the right track.
It's always something with those youngsters!
Those are beautiful! From the barn to cocktail hour.
Are you opposed to a western or Australian cut? That would open the door to more options.
About half of the trainers, horse dealers, barn owners, and farriers I've met are the same. All he'll have to do is find a few wealthy and gullible newbies and he'll be set for at least a few years....
Personally, I like the red one. This style has 4 1/2 out of 5 stars.
Go for 3. If the one movement isn't perfect, reward your horse for trying and nail what he can do well. He will move better and be happier at the next show.
Best of luck!
If he is a trainer to beginner riders, I'm not sure how experienced he needs to be in Dressage.
Most of his students won't even know the difference, just happy to ride a safe horse in a pretty...
Dreadlocks are a bear to work with.
Have you tried using a Cowboy Magic type spray or WD40 to work out the dreadlocks?
Thanks for the advice and thank you Horsetails for the link to the other thread.
It's a tough decision either way but since she's only 30 mins from our barn, I think I'll suggest she come to our...
We have mats in our wash rack after one of the older horses slipped and fell last summer.
Everyone love them but they do have to be flipped and scrubbed about every 3-4 weeks.
We have a buyer for a horse that would like a two week evaluation at her barn, which is about a 30 minute drive from our barn.
Does anyone have any experience or suggestions on this topic? Risks...
Congratulations on the new steed.
It is a tough concept but horses can be destructive and BOs factor some (but not all) costs into board. It usually averages out in one way or the other but it's...
We are having a good year in east Texas also. Lots of rain, very few flies. We do have fly misting systems and use fly-predators. We also pick up manure in the pastures and have very few cattle and...
We have two 'summer hires' at our barn - one is a college student and does repair projects on fences, sprinklers, fly-spray systems, $11/hr. The other young man is a high school junior and makes...
PVC poles work great - no splinters. Make sure to get the heavier grade PVC for just a few dollars more.
Sorry you are going through this, Lori.
I'm sure the calls will continue to decline. Hang in there.
Ha! Of course!
Nice trucks. Good post.
