Coming from a triathlete/cyclist's point of view, there are actually helmet sensor things being created that you stick in your helmet. It picks up a crash/helmet smash, then starts a countdown on...
Jumper and newbie triathlete here, but I have found that cycling has really built up the muscles on the outside of my legs, which has helped my riding a lot. I do both spin classes and regular bike...
Only for trainer splits (hotel/travel/food), are they divided by rider.
Show splits (tack stalls, grain, hay, etc) are divided by horse.
My barn does 'trainer splits' between riders. ETA: hotel, food, travel.
I have not shown in a while, so my opinion may not matter, but essentially you are just asking your trainer to come down to...
I ride a wide, no-withers Arab for ride and tie/trails (so no 'real' jumping). He has custom County saddle, with a breastplate and sheepskin pad. The pad is sheepskin on the top in the shape of a...
Speaking from a running point of view, this is not always true from my own observations. A very close family friend is not a naturally gifted runner, but she is the one running every day, sometimes...
My trainer has a First Lady and KEP, and she wears the KEP much more often than the First Lady. She rides Jumpers.
Study break from finals week :)
I though Beval carried them...
Love my Air Grips. I have had them for two years, and they are kind of smelly now (even just out of the wash), but they are holding up great! Hands are never hot, and they wash up to look like new....
That should be it, but I am no expert on bridle fit so I'll leave it to you all!
5'4", a nice booty (Latin roots!) 26" waist, 34" inseam... 17" forward flap
Our barn is 10% of actual prize money plus the standard 'trainer ride' fee (amount depends on horse and if it is in training or not).
He clinic'd with our barn earlier last year. Although I did not ride in it, just as an auditor, I learned a lot. Do the clinic!
I have little experience with Ogilvy's, but keep in mind that they may alter the fit of your saddle on the horse that you are leasing right now.
Sorry I am no help, but he is the cutest! Love his face!
I ride a jumper pony! Probably will be showing her .95 meter classes this year. She is a blast, and great for jump-offs. I am 5'4" and she is about 13.3hh, so I look a little funny, but we get along...
We have a couple 5 foots, but we only use those with horses that are used to them and can jump straight.
I would say good deal. It says "Local pickup okay", which confirms it.
Mainly polos for the horses that are pretty careful with their legs, and Eskadrons for the little jumper pony who does not always know there her legs are.
I bought a CO AYR8 from Amazon UK (through a private store) for about half of what it costs from Smartpak, inc shipping. Not quite what you are looking for, but it was a steal!
I have a Moving Comfort that I really like-no bounce at all, it comes in racerback or regular straps.
Gosh, I love horse people!!! New pony as motivation...
Anyways, if she can make the stride and you aren't planning on going to WEF or something that size, I would get her!
Has she shown in dressage? Not super important, but it can prove that she keeps her head on straight somewhere new.
I would say around $8-10k
Just got a email from Ricks' today on the new season Joules
