I'm know your question was with regards to the horse, and the replies thus far have focused mainly in that direction, unless telling you how you were allowing for evasions.
I'm not sure I will...

Many moons ago I woke up in the middle of the night with a dog nose pushing at me. Room is quiet, dog is staring at me and shaking like a leaf.
I thought maybe he had some dietary induced...

By round-about link surfing this morning I ran across this local news item.
Baby Fox Peruses Gainesville Kmart
I thought it might provide a quick smile, (perhaps with a shake of the head at...

Adriane and I shared an advisor at UF. She was the first person I met when I came to Gainesville, and we shared an office for a while when she was finishing her Thesis.
I read through these posts...

The toughest half chaps I've ever seen were custom or semi-custom worn by exercise riders at the track. They were usually really thick, soft leather made by makers of exercise saddles etc. Try cross...

BassProShops seems to have the best selection of decent quality but not pricey polarized sunglasses ($15-$45 ish). I have found the higher $$ ones well worth it (I live in mine year round outside,...

Generally, I'm in the riding over turnout camp, but... I think entering a classic includes respecting the traditional conventions (and I don't think that lots of slackers => new convention).
But...

Costa Del Mars would top the list but do have a $$$ rating, and you will want to find a dealer that carries the full line so you can find the frame that really fits. They have gotten quite trendy...

I vote for the Hawk side ramp. :D

In agreement with most said about the rider, but going a step further, I don't think this mare is trying her hardest any more (and who can blame her) She is so horridly inverted, it is no longer just...

My barn is 24 x 36 too.
I'm in FL, so I have 2 end walls, but the sides are both open. I have 3 stalls in one long side that open to a paddock and the other long side is open.
In the original...

Maybe so.
OP don't take this the wrong way because obviously things didn't go smoothly at the farm end of things, and certainly we like to be able to expect that they will, as sometimes you can't...

Too true. You do what you can through networking or referrals, but you never really know what your getting until you get it.
I think I've posted my big three I-hate-to-find-a-new-one service...

reference was to fipronil. I think I read a related marker is seen in cockroaches also (fipronil is apparently used in roach baits)
It was an interesting article as it discussed the implications...

Tom, you never fail to hit a nerve (--yes, I guess that is supposed to be a farrier joke).
I'm not sure if my horses would love or hate you, but I always enjoy reading what you have to say.

That is what I thought, and wrote as much in another thread, but since anecdotal pressure was mounting, I did an actual literature search, and in fact resistance has been documented, and a gene...

This is true, but a blower works fine.
I also agree that they are hard, as in very firm, and I like this about them. They are very forgiving compared to concrete.

WM,
Check into the spray. I find the 250ml bottle for ~$20. It depends a little on how you are using/splitting the spot-on, but I have always found the spray to be most economical, and actually...

I love my diesel too (well over 200K miles). My only complaint involves the sound and french fries...
It is often impossible for the drive through operator to hear my fry order over the lovely...

Just bumping this up for an update.
I made my guess the same time I filled out my NCAA bracket, and I was a winner there
