I am so shocked and saddened by this. RIP Leonard.
I suddenly feel VERY old. :(
Thanks guys! a lot to think about. I will skip the rooster,
I do not think I can handle 12 LOL
I will check out that website.
Okay now my GRape vine seems easy compared to that.
Is that Giant Hogs weed real? I mean I know it exists, but they say it is terribly toxic. I have only seen pics.
Blue and Black.. White and gold??
I had the room at my old house, but Ex never wanted them.
Now I have the room and the fencing and a pole barn and a smaller barn.
I have wanted chickens since I was young. I want to do it...
Canaqua that stuff looks awful! never saw that before.
Are those thorns on the vines??
Yup the three S's Why do people feel the need to blab everything on facebook?
Exactly I want the trees and the birds do as well.
So I am not too far off with the stump thing.
Do I need that commercial stuff or can I paint on plain Glyphosate?
I think I should go to my local Cooperative Extension service.
Will they sell that stuff to a plain home owner?
I wish I could get a truck back there. Too dense.
No it is wild grape. Clusters of purple grapes small but grapes.
I have seen the moon weed vine before, but that does not have the tree trunk sized vines as Grape, and it is shaped different.
My cats would not touch taste of the wild. Diamond was scary.
I always wondered about stories I had heard about that food.
Yup, I guess I will continue on that path. I did manage to pull up huge ones for a long ways. I read that too about bagging the vines. I burned mine.
But I have a lot of brush I am burning.
I think it was a far better food 20 years ago.
Hell we fed my beagle Gravy Train for 20 years!
Dang it, I just looked up the ingredients in the Fromm cat food.
Cats do not need pearled barley, oatmeal rice or tomatoes.
Oh well this is off topic. Thanks.
I think I will "Google" it~ :D
They like Round up, they bathe in it! LOL
Gas seems to kill the stem, but you are right, the root structure is vast, all through the woods for acres I am sure.
I guess I can only control it, and...
Also have tons of wild blackberries, that had no fruit, and I have eradicated them.
And then there is the Autumn Olive.. Sigh~ The DNR recommends goats for them, or bulldozing them up. Goats are...
Well I have accidentally tasted the tiny purple grapes, HORRIBLY bitter.
And no my point is they are killing all the trees,
The DNR does not recommend burning, as they like that. I am saving...
Now that is a name I have not heard in a while. Wonder if I can find that around me. Good food with a good although not widely known reputation.
I'm totally with you, LA Gringa! We may be a minority. Although I hope not.
Wendy, Having Sex is a totally natural thing but one does not drop and have it on a clients lawn.
Well that one is...
You know I read that carol but I did not really believe it.
I wonder if Pygmys would work? I have a totally fenced back area with Horse fencing. Man, I am so tempted! And hey, Goats milk. :)
Not dogs, Cats!
WILD grape vine. Here in Michigan where there is wooded areas it is growing. It kills trees, growing up them strangling them by stealing the sun and water.
I had some in my old property, but...
I'm betting in VA it is too, Call your local health department!.
Ruger 22 with a scope! :)
