Yes, twice with two different trainers, at two very different price points with very different outcomes and both times I did PPEs.
First time it was a disaster. Horse and I never really "clicked"...

My horse has spent years in retirement (I pay a monthly fee) many states away from me. I have friends who are horse people that check on him regularly. He is fat and happy.

OP so sorry this happened to you. Hope your son feels better. I have faith that your horse will recover as well.
I'd like to understand why you aren't publishing her name and the name of the farm...

You help her by being available to listen.
I have friends whose marriages have survived infidelity and those whose marriages have not.
There is not one right or wrong answer and giving advice...

Having a "favorite" and showing "favoritism" are two different things.
You should not feel guilty about having a favorite, but showing favoritism outwardly is probably not great for the dynamics...

As an amateur I can go fox-hunting. My horse, friend's horse, or rent-a-horse and have a nice day.
I will NEVER EVER go to a 4 **** except as a spectator for good reason.
Same is true of the...

I respectfully disagree.
I had a very good long term friend who cheated on her husband. She was completely honest with me about it from the start, depressed and a total emotional wreck.
I did not...

Thank you for your beautiful and accurate description.
I've been living vicariously through this thread.

I've owned a beautiful "American style" hunter and an official "Irish show hunter".
The American hunter was an elegant assh#le with health issues who was a PITA to jump but incredibly beautiful....

Often when people feel their life is out of control (ie - financial issues) they respond by trying to "control" (nag, criticize) their partner …
Don't ask me how i know this :)
Anyway really I...

Nick's horse was "playing" after the fences.
In both rounds.
I like horses with attitude but not appropriate I don't think.
And in general I love greys and horses with some "attitude".
-
Thanks for clarifying. Whatever it was, I was pretty surprised by the placing. I understand a little head tossing but the horse did it after both the 1rst and 2nd fences and in this level of...
-
Yes this horse, maybe I messed up the name as I'm doing ten things at once and have the feed up on my computer.
I didn't see the "hop" but I did see several bouts of head shaking and can't figure...

Some one please explain how cruz/cruise (I didn't see spelling) went into the lead when he was shaking his head like crazy after the first couple of jumps.
Does that not factor into it at all?
I...
