I use a regular cotton/foam shimmable pad for this reason, it doesn't have to be sheepskin. I think the brand is Equine Comfort Products...around $60!
Pretty sure Team USA won the Pan Ams the last time they were held...
I have used Pentosan Gold and regular Pentosan from horseprerace.com for a few years now with no issues. I prefer the Gold and am happy I can get it quickly and low cost. It is injected 6cc IM.
Mine is always that I am late for dressage and my horse isn't braided, I'm not dressed, etc! For years I've had this dream and I actually like the dressage phase most of the time ;)
They didn't have live scoring last year either, not sure why there was a link on evententries.
I am late to this thread but wanted to note that unfortunately Orujo de la Galerna was euthanized in December 2014. I believe he is still available frozen though. Can't say enough about his...
The helmet cam brought tears to my eyes and gave me goosebumps! So well done, congrats to her!
She is the sweetest lady, I met her at the USEA convention in Colorado and she was just inspiring!
LOL - and wouldn't be caught dead with a selfie toaster?? ;)
Meghan really held it together and produced a nice test after a tense beginning! Tied with her Burghley score and a Rolex personal best. Go Pirate!!!
I also appreciated that he wore dark gloves, even though he's one of the few who could pull off white ones ;)
I loved how forward Michael rode, really took the test to the next level. Nothing tentative about it at all!
It's working on my iPhone but not computer/Chrome browser
Mine isn't working just yet, but should just be the test ride going on right now
A long time ago my very wise trainer told me not to try to make a living doing horses full time, even though it's what I always thought I'd wanted to do...it's a very hard way of life and you have to...
Very interesting...at the in barns I've attended, the vitals were taken from the left side only.
Huge fan off all the Back on Track products (people, horse and dog)!
EN just updated that they will be showing the jumping phases only, no dressage
I prefer test A to test B though...just flows better! Plus I'd rather do 2 trot lengthenings at the beginning of the test than 2 canter lengthenings on a circle any day :)
I'm not sure how long it will run, but would expect through at least the end of this competition season. It wouldn't hurt to contact Dr. Caston at Iowa State:
Assistant Professor & Section Leader...
Check out this survey by Iowa State University: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2015EquineStudy
Hopefully they collect useful data - please help them out by taking the short survey.
Chiming in with a vote for Hagyard Midsouth. Everything is top notch, excellent courses, clinicians, footing, and there is nothing quite like the Kentucky Horse Park (especially in the fall!).
Can we please make this thread a sticky and post TB pedigree queries here all the time? ;)
Thoughts on these 2?
You have done an excellent job with him! Congrats :)
Shoulder fore/shoulder in will help isolate the inside hind leg, which will make the horse stronger behind.
