So my horse trailered with a horse that was in a barn that has active strangles.
What's the likelihood that my mare may have gotten it?
I would think slim as not only would the other horse had...
Anyone have one?
Very interesting concept but never heard of them.
Hmmmm would be tight for lengthening that's for sure

I had no problems with CL. I just rented to a very sweet young couple in school. My previous renter was a friend. If I find someone that I think is a little off I just explained that I have others...
It kinda sounds like no one knows the answer...
I don't but I know I should.
Chisamba I would think there is a correct way to do it. I'm not asking if its classical or not, I'm asking where the weight should be :)
I had no sound, did it say how she knew where she was in the arena.
Ok so Zettle says your weight should always be on the side of your bend which would make it in the right seat bone when leg yielding to the left
Just listened to Jane Savoie who said it should be...
I'd try good old fashioned CL. I agree with Blume though I think you'd be safer renting the apartment and paying for help
I'm thinking about insuring my girl as I've been told by 2 BNT that's she's talented enough to go FEI (not that I am but..)
Just curious how many people insure theirs and what made you decide to...
I know of at least two Frisian crosses that have exactly the same issue :( I would do some conditioning out on trails. Lots of trot work to start then add in canter.
I don't know your mare but...
Anne I had seen that chart but as someone who knows very little about warmblood registries it hurt my head!
Sire is Zion JC if that helps he is in their stallion directory.
Can I get her...
I have a DHH (Dutch harness horse) cross Arab mare, sire is registered KWPN. Dam is registered AHA. Foal was registered AHA (half Arab).
I want to breed to breed her to a warm blood.
Do I need...
I was looking at Centaur HTP and I had to have it shipped :( Didn't know Homedepot sold the cenflex...maybe I just do that and put up a line of white lightening at the top?
Any opinions? There's a significant price difference with Centaur being $600 for 660 ft and Ramm being $430.
I know the centaur can be made hot.
So I just have to say, I think there may be hope for my little mare.
Last year I showed her for the first time and she had a complete utter meltdown to the point of being borderline dangerous...
LOL Beowulf you're right! However a certain brand ripped within days and this same brand (new blanket) had the leg straps fall off within 14 days. Now my gelding will rip my mares blankets BUT aside...
Ok so apparently my horses are tough on blankets. I won't name the brands that didn't hold up but I just bought one, 2 week on my mare, and all the strap came off...it wasn't even a cheapie.
I cliniced with a guy who had me do "10 on 10 off" exercise which I LOVE. So 10 strides of canter, 10 of trot etc. You need to be precise. Helped my horses canter immensely!
Warm clothes!!! Especially this time of year, you get cold standing around.
Remember to ride the horse not just the test.
Its a schooling show, this is where its ok to make mistakes and ok to...
Does he lead well? I mean really well? If not start there cause I'm thinking the trotting is an extension of this. In other words he should move forward when you do and stop when you do.
