theirs is a "purity" culture where they had key/cue words to indicate when a young, attractive woman was coming down the street (think that was in this thread). So at 14, I'm going to have to believe...
when is she due? And how long is incubation?
I wondered that also, as the OP join date was April 2015. Just about the time another was banned.
Jim R is stirring the pot. He knows these weren't good kids who got out of hand. He knows there was no "ambush". He's just trying to get things going.
and he did.
I didn't read any of the responses as "hate the rich". I read them as "why in the world would anyone live under the thumb of another like that".
Certainly I do not hate the rich, depending on...
I found the article and the responses here fascinating. Apparently this touched a nerve for subk.
ok, went back & re read that. I think you are right. However, I think I'd take part of that 20k bonus and become more independent of him....but of course I was not born into that society and have...
oh I don't know about that. From the article:
"They were married to rich, powerful men, many of whom ran hedge or private equity funds; "
if they are running or ran the above, I'd think they...
I so appreciate this thread. Found some good series and movies from it, thanks everyone.
How accurate is the "because you liked X, we recommend Y" stuff? Hit and miss or mostly good within the...
what Bicoastal said. You aren't there to train the dog, so scatter treats for him to sniff out. Some on the driveway, some in the grass (if possible) that he will have to work to find. Eventually,...
other things to consider.
how much training are you up for? There are probably a lot of nice, but under exercised and eager dogs who at first walk through will leap and bark and desperately try...
I love James Bay, especially Sparks.
and of course Hold Back the River
any young artists you like?
the only group texts I get are for events. I love texting as I work answering phones all day and often will not pick up when my phone rings. Texts also do not wake me, if I am napping.
I, too, am sorry for those who did not have great relationships with their mothers and also for those who will miss their mothers on Mothers Day.
My mother has been gone many years now and long...
thank you, that's him!
he had a great starting gate training vid up, anyone have the link?
he had up a vid of gate training .... anyone have the link?
exactly why a random reinforcement rate (which is what Tim used in the link I put up) is far more powerful than a fixed ratio, when maintaining a behavior already trained.
You assume that negative reinforcement is something clicker trainers don't do. Good c/t uses 3 of the 4 behavior quadrants. They just don't use much +P.
That "mother of the year" used a lot of +P...
That's not clicker training. That's traditional training. If you choose to focus on what's wrong and not train for better performance then the punishment will do fine.
the Geo Dollar experiment got parents to come to parent/teacher day. That's a start. I think it would be more economical and easier to motivate the students than the parents because it ultimately...
I disagree. It's not dependent or easier in some subjects. The teacher in the link did not reward math, he rewarded being in their seats, asking questions and turning in homework.
Geometry teacher used Geo Dollars successfully.
