Sucker, I think you need to google types of flies and then look into how Fly Predators work. Manure is not required. If it is a type of fly that the Fly Predators work on they do not have to lay...

Cluster flies do not actually live in small clusters. I think (totally guessing) they get their name because you see them in clusters on your window sill inside.

All the other bickering and ideas aside. There is always the 'going out for a ride' and simply ride off the property and not go back technique for removing your horse.

Fly predators are used all summer long. Depending on where you live when you start for the year varies but they are applied monthly (or more) to keep the population up to control the flies.

To me one horse seems fair. You should not have to give free board for a whole string of lesson horses if you are not getting any monies from the lessons.

This is assuming the mare owner had a clue that the horse in cross ties was a stallion.

Right or wrong it is pretty much assumed that most horses at most barns are not stallions.

Looking at options is fine. Saying this community was negligent for not having something that has now been decided might have helped is Monday morning quarterbacking for sure.

I am not sure moving more air is always what is needed though.
