Why wouldn't you want to be in CO in August, it's way better weather than KY or VA this time of year. I just came from there and it's lovely weather!
Personally, I think it is only fair to move it...

Area V has 2 ** horses
And 4 * horses.
And I am going as the team manager. Should be fun!

Kristin-
If she ends up going, she will be moving up to Prelim! YAY! But, she is going on trial for a 12 year old girl. So fingers crossed!!!
Thank you for the compliment!

Okay ya'll bumping this up. I need TWO horses for a rideshare to Coconino I and II. I have figured approx. $300 per horse in fuel! That's for TWO events ... in the COOL weather. You can't beat that....

I have a Preliminary mare who has done several Prelims this year, she is very young (6) so I am going to wait until next year to move up.
I have a Training level mare who will move up to Prelim at...

Kristin-
Load up! Let's go!! It's great. They have XC schooling on Monday after the first event and they have a SJ practice on Thursday. It's great. Let me know how Booms comes along.

I went last year with two training level horses and would love to go again this year. I think it is July 11 and 12 and 18 and 19th. With the price of diesel I wanted to see if anyone wanted to...

After reading her blog, does it sound like she has lost the ride on Mazetto? It sounds like it is not a definate that she is getting him back, at least from the sound of her blog

Buck was DQ'ed as I understand it because he was showing a competing horse to a buyer after the show had begun. Someone else also got a yellow card in a similar incedent.

I will be there to sell if some of our horses don't sell while competing in FL. I too am interested to see how this all works. It might be something that catches on throughout the country.

Wow! That was very well thought out and presented!! BarbB. It's easy to see how people could have a hard time receiving sponsorships if they don't want to put in the work that it takes. My client...

I think that is a very valid question and one that I am sure many riders have lost sleep over. I am a Preliminary level young adult rider who is what I would consider semi-pro. I am fortunate...

I believe that all horses should be treated as individuals. I have a 5 year old mare running Prelim. I try my best to take care of her (monthly adequan, aquatred, adequate vacations, etc.) But, she...

Hey purpl-
Where are ya'll headed this winter? Which shows are you hoping to catch?
-
Hands down, my past, present, and future coach Mike Huber. I have ridden with him for nearly 15 years. He brought me from a run away BN appaloosa, to CCI* (and hopefully further). He has always...

I have competed at a bunch of venues this year at all levels
Area V:
Holly Hill:
SUPER well organized, Marty is the bestest. Footing is always awesome on XC but dressage can gt bad if lots of...

I am also wondering about the "no haggle" price. Say I put a price tag of $35,000 on a horse, but someone would be willing to pay$30,000. How's that supposed to work?
-
emf- I think it would be great to see a chaotic environment there... would be like a Beginner Novice XC warm-up LOL. You could see what you might be dealing with in the future.
:)

Here's a question for ya'll. How far would you travel to a sale such as this if you didn't have to pay a buyers fee? IE would you fly to the opposite coast for a sale like this if you could preview...

I worked at Hagyards for many years and your horse will be in great hands. You both are in my thoughts and prayers.

I teach and train. My students are mostly comprised of young kids and adult ammies. I break young horses and fix problem horses, I have everything in my barn from racehorses, to roping horses, to a...

Quite frankly, I am dismayed that in a sport where riders usually band together in bad times, you guys are name-calling, and being downright hateful. First, to whomever said that Mark Phillips...
-
All of this information is confusing, I used to be a tech at Hagyards and second Simply Sweet that there is no way that they'd give you that info unless you have an inside source. As for Scott...

Two Simple... as someone who is getting ready to fly out of Lexington airport on Friday morning, I don't really appreciate your negative and frightening comments...some things are better left unsaid.

By watching the live stream it looks like Kim had at least one stop, I think Karne had two... Will jumped clean but with his dressage score he is still far down... Amy had a great go! What a...
