Thanks, Mia. I'm not aware of a specific blanket repair person in my neck of the woods, but I'll ask around. I also thought about seeing if my local shoe repair place would want the hardware.
So my horse comes up to the gate yesterday with his blanket in shreds. It is beyond repair, trust me. I can't really complain though, since it was over 10 years old (yay, Riders brand from Dover!)....
Wealthy women will always have options for dealing with unplanned pregnancy. That isn't going to change.

I too remember the days when the dressage horse of choice was an appendix. That said, I would agree with the posters who suggested looking for good "using" blood lines, and also to carefully...
My horse fell several times during canter departs shortly before being diagnosed with ringbone. (He's also a percheron cross.) Falling down can indeed be an early sign of health or soundness...

Because no one else has, I'm going to mention EPSM/PSSM. You may as well rule that out, too. Here's a good link for you - be sure to read the "Symptoms" section.
Oh, did somebody fall off in the video? I was watching the jump crew.
My cat loves this thing (although I got a less expensive knock-off version). He'll entertain himself for hours making the little ball go around and around.
Design Toscano has some cool horse stuff.
If you have access to Blue Seal, their Omegatin product is similar to Amplify. It's very palatable, and makes coats very shiny.
This is my favorite piaffe video.
I've had good luck with Uckele's product called Bio Quench. I don't think it tastes very good, but my horse will eat it if it's mixed in with something yummy.
Yup. I audited a Sally O'Connor clinic several years ago. She does NOT mince words, but rather says exactly what she thinks, in no uncertain terms. I would take her compliment as high praise.
JSwan - I agree with the gist of what you're saying, but please keep in mind that many of us board our horses. We have little if any control over how the land is managed because it isn't our land! ...

Wow, I'm so glad you cleared that up! I was kinda worried about it.
Oh wait, it was the supermoon!
I really don't think it's all that mysterious. The polar ice caps were stabilizing the earth's crust, and we've melted 'em real good. Here's the best article about it that I could find with a quick...
I see the flash attachment mostly as a "fashion statement." Kinda like tall boots - you can certainly ride without them, but they're expected when you show at a certain level....
Interesting post! I wonder if the German "schnabel" is related to the slang term "schnozz" for "nose." Yiddish, maybe?

EPSM? Feed her some oil and see if that helps at all.
Thanks for the recommendation! It's on my list of books to read this year.
(Whew, I just needed to say that.)
Okay, just to get Delta's knickers in a twist, I'm going to quote Mary Enig at the Weston Price Foundation. Here's what she says about the "Bunny Studies:"
