Isn't a medal class strictly judged on the rider?? Especially at the 3 ft. level?
As long as the horse can make the strides, has changes, and is somewhat adjustable, don't see any problem with it...

Yep, I only see most of the local trainers at shows as a spectator and she seems to be the real deal (and nice, to boot).
IF I were on that side of town, I would still be doing the H/J stuff and...

I <3 them and wish my sister would move back to Dublin OH so I could go visit the store when I visit her (highlight of my yearly family trip!)

When they were first starting out (several years ago, don't remember exactly when?), I 'won' a nice gift certificate for a show shirt ($75 or thereabouts).
I picked one out, in a color I had been...

Can't say how the leather quality compares as I didn't get to actually try the MH boots on (no tack store around me).
I took a chance iwth the Treadstones and got lucky. I will say that the...

I still have the box mine came in and the model number matches the Grand Torino model on their website: FB-355.
Mine were the more $$ ones so I guess that makes the Grand Torino the "nicer"...

Am I dreaming that I ever heard this, that clipping while they are shedding out "ruins" their summer coat?
I told a barn buddy this tonight (he has a ranch horse that came from a cold climate to...

Thanks Eclectic H!
That's kind of what I figured...I've never used any leather goods from Schneiders as I know what I like and where to get it.

I need new reins and while I would PREFER to buy a pair of lovely, pre-oiled Bobby's reins (nice and ready to go when they arrive), I have a $25 gift certificate from Schneider's tack.
These:...

I love the Cashel Crusaders and you got a GREAT deal!!!
That's all I use and they fit wonderfully well AND they have the hole for the forelock - yeah, one of my favorite features

I swear by Calm Coat for getting hair to grow back quickly.
I swear, in a week, the bald spots are gone
I have 1 large spray bottle of the stuff that I've had for probably 4 years, you...

RIP to Laurie and prayers to you and your family as you go through this.

Well, I haven't shown at a Bel Air show since, well, a few years now. Looks like they aren't even at the same place!
These are really just schooling shows, no one braided, some people showed in...

I'm sure it will be beautiful, no pun intended ;)
I use burgundy, hunter green, tan, white, red on my chestnut gelding (not all at the same time!). He doesn't care and I like it. So really,...

Ditto what Rye and BAC said
My prior horse wore one any time we jumped because we needed it to keep the saddle in place. We wore it in jumpers, hunters, and eq. It's a Hadfields and it...

I think if she were on a very young horse or on a particularly boisterous one, trainer might.
But no, my horse's difficulties lie in his ability to remember things from ride to ride (ADD?) and a...

I don't have a lot of pics on my computer but a few!
As if you must ask, ha, ha :)

Because my trainer, who has been the best thing to happen to my horse, does not wear a helmet except to show or clinic. And it bothers me terribly. Many of her other students follow that example...
