Ha! I cannot believe that someone thinks the same thing I do! But I won't come out and say it ; -)
I jump judge a couple of times a year as a favor to a friend, and those eventers seem to obsess...

I hunt and have hunted many QHs.
I want to also say that yes, most first timers don't realize everything going on with the hounds, so often start chatting when we are listening carefully. I also...

I love contemporary architecture, especially concrete with wood or stone, but for this complex to have ready-made stall fronts just doesn't go well.
I bet Donald Judd could have designed a killer...

My friend feeds hers saltines, wonder bread and marshmallows. They got so fat that the "pregnant" one with twins was actually obese. They run to you when you call them, though.

Geez - it's a kid's pony for Chrissake. They've done that lightning bolt for years. Evidently it's the "eventers" who are snotty, not the "foxhunters."
btw, don't like any quarter marks or bling...

Have you tried a damp chamoix under the saddle pad? Fake fleece slips the very worst - never use that. I use a Fritz Theideman (Sp?) non slip contour pad and love it, but my saddles fit rather well...

Sorry, but it's sort of like babies at Movies - if you can't afford a sitter you can't afford to go. Hire a babysitter to watch your baby. Just to dangerous for your child.

Totally agree.
They all say something different and if they sell saddles watch out and run.
They usually are also expert massage therapists (how many hundreds of equine massage therapists are...

Anyone try a Duett? I think the breastplate with the elastic to the girth and pommel would be the ticket.

Boy, thank you for al the advice!! I am purchasing this horse and have not ridden him extensively, so thanks!!!!!!

It depends on how far you want to drive. There are some in AL/MS that are fast and friendly.

Anyone have one or do it?
Galloping around tight trails and tight turns might be a challenge if I don't find just the right fitting saddle, is what I'm thinking.
There have to be some...

How many miles are you talking about? How much of Foxhall is actually left? I was hoping the economy slowed down the development over there. Who is running it now?
