It looks like his wraps were just taped (masking tape?)? I don't see pins, or bulges from pins?
Loved the survey. Maybe add a question asking about competition level.
In the Irons and Liza Horan. Hands down. From an eventers born and raised in SB and now 2 hrs north. Great facility, fabulous team including their vet, and Liza is icing on the cake.
I've thought the same thing, as well as similar versions that motocross riders use.
I've never been, and admit I know nothing! But go!!!!!!! Since you are close and all.
I also want to see the other 2015 awards! The previous years are available in the archive.
Bunnie is absolutely a class act. Every time she is in the show ring, on any horse, any phase, she is all smiles. I've known her for years. So very happy her dreams have come true.
Watching the coverage of Rolex (thank you USEF!!!!). What vest is he wearing? I notice no air vest and don't recognize the regular vest. Just curious.
This!!! I hate test B!
Another point to consider, in general, is that a novice rider (however the show designates that) can be on an experienced horse, and that a novice horse can be ridden by a pro. So it can be a toss up...
This is my favorite so far!!!!!!
What are the specifics that you are looking for?
In Area VI the Galway October T3D has had one on course the last 2 years for sure. This year the October regular training divisions had the same fence that has been on the T3D. It was a simple...
I agree! A thank you note always reminds us of the goodness of humanity. Please, send thank you notes!

I was at a Scott Hassler clinic this weekend. He had a great saying... "If you are going 10 mph ask for one more, then one more, then one more." He used the same for collecting the gaits. Maybe...
This is actually not allowed. The order is to be randomly assigned. Officials were permissible to this and are now cracking down, while allowing flexibility for riders with multiple horses. (I am a...
I'm suited for mid and long range cycling which I can see.. Also hockey.
I'm hurt that it's recommended that I not shoot. Or long distance or lawn bowling.
Pony Club! Still think that eventers are absolutely the best people 20+ years later. I dabble into dressage (I will admit I have an inner DQ). Mostly stick to eventing.
As secretary of horse trials here is what we do. On dressage day we have medics on site (actually trauma nurses in their real jobs). For SJ and XC we have an ambulance on site all day, no one is...
Completely ignoring the horsemanship of colic + banamine in am, compete in afternoon, how could he have been complying with the new 12 hour rule.
Living somewhere where they get rain and the ground isn't hard as a rock 12 months out of the year would help. My boys would love to live in Europe: grass, turnout, soft footing.
Don't forget the "but he was premium as a foal!"
To the OP you should scribe sometime. It is a completely different view. It helps a lot with reading between the lines on a test sheet. Even if you have in the past, do so again. I always learn...
Several late thoughts to add...
First, horses do not have heart attacks or cardiac arrests like people. Those terms, in the human realm, are related to blocked arteries (due to plaque, calcium,...
