Miichelle, if your mare is bred to a Knabstrupper stallion, you of course know that the foal cannot be registered with the ApHC.
It could, however, be...

Adding my congratulations to aurum and also noting that she just sent me an email announcing that she has just acquired a new few spot Knabstrupper stallion that looks wonderful!

There's a thread on here already listing good Appaloosa stallions. Since the mare is not registered with ApHC, I would suggest that she also consider a Knabstrupper stallion. The foal could be...

Applause was, indeed, a stallion. He died under mysterious circumstances two years after being sold to the East Coast.

I decided this info was off topic and so will answer this in PMs.

Waps Moonshine was shown successfully for a year in Texas before being sent home to his new owners. Their website is http://www.tsquare-appaloosas.com/

She could go to an Appaloosa stallion that is Wap Spot 2 bred but several generations back. We sold Waps Moonshine as a stallion and he is producing phenomenal babies. He is by Wap Spotted, who was...

My only contribution to these excellent tips is:

Just for the record, I live very near to where Glitter Please stood at stud in Texas. Saw him several times and have seen MANY MANY MANY of his offspring. As babies. Long before there could have...

I've tried to find out, too. Chuck is not returning calls about him and I won't put Dr. Tramp on the spot by calling him. Not fair to him.
But, yes, many offers were made to Chuck regarding FS...

Most breeders would love to hear from you. Go for it! We like knowing our babies are in good hands and most of us would shower you with early photos, videos and stories.

I'd be sure to only buy name brand saddles. The off brands are often crap.

I've bought two saddles to be used for lesson horses. Both experiences were good, but be careful and do check the feedback of the seller. There have been some rip-offs.

Tantivy1, I would say that in the early days of wb breeding (and to an extent, even now) there was an attitude with mare owners of "Well, she's too hot (or unsound) to ride, so let's breed her."

I've had experience with only a few AD babies. Two fine; one not so much. But I think it is very important to remember that AD was one of the earliest of the colored stallions. MANY MANY...

The concrete blocks nowadays are not heavy like those of old. They knock over very easily with no damage at all. Next time you are at Lowe's or Home Depot, go check them out. Seems they are thinner...

Ok, I like Walk the Line. And if that is the name you go with, you are just gonna HAVE to call him "Johnny."

Call the vet. It does sometimes happen that they urinate from the umbilicus (though usually it's colts that do so). Vet intervention may be required.
