    So sorry, Hundred. Lost my first horse at age 24 in 2001 and I still miss him but the pain has been reduced by happy memories. He's buried out in my pasture. It does get better.

    Important point. People that don't have horses don't understand how easy it is for them to get injured trying to get away, crashing into each other, crashing into the fence, etc.
