The best tactic I've seen involves two people with two radio controlled model boats at either end of the pond.

I've had a Stubben cord girth for well over 20 years & it looks just as new as the day I bought it. I like to use it during the summer months, thinking it has to be the equivalent of wearing sandals...
I've been to that one. It's Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. A rough but very colorful crowd.
There is a respectable show held within the walled show grounds adjacent to the fair green.
