I took judo when I was ( a lot ) younger. It's a good way to learn to fall, plus some of the techniques come in handy when handling a 10 times heavier " wrestling partner" of the four legged variety.
Three Italian Greyhounds.
In the past we also had Greyhounds (retired racers), a Borzoi, a Whippet, two German Shepherds and a Golden Retriever.
I was watching the hounds, they did go down to the bottom of the ditch, around the back and then up. At ~ 2:20 one horse did go the same way, after a slight detour.
I guess they got Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II mixed up.
The illustrations also show the proper dog for a proper young Lady, the Italian Greyhound. :D
Dressage Riders can only ride under " Ideal Conditions "
The definition of "Ideal" may vary. :D
I'm using pelletized bedding in my cats litterbox.
Don't worry too much.
My wife has not lost her free groom yet.
Though I wish she had not gone over to the "Dark Side"!
Those western saddles are killers.
It should be clear by now.
Things do not go as planned whenever Daffy Duck is involved.:D
Let's see if I got this right.
The "school uniform" I wear for a dressage test is what defines my level of "snootines" ?
What I ride in the other 360 or more days of the year does not need to be...
It ain't me.
I'd rather ride then run.
Li'l Kim is only a poseur, he rides a dapple grey.
Experienced "Men on Horseback", like Sadam Hussein, know/ knew that only a "white" horse is the proper mount.
Rearing optional.
Only one boarding barn in ~ 10 years.
There is not much of a turn-over at this barn.
I would incorporate a light steel cable or chain into one set of reins to prevent them from being cut.
That could be fun to watch.
As long as my wife does not see me watching.
Fall for a Jockey.
Those saddles are much easier to carry.:D
Alas, I did not heed my own advice.
That last sentence summs it up.
I'm german, talk to my horse in german, maybe I should hold a " Dressage Summit" ::lol:
That gives a whole new meaning to the term "on-line" dating.
He is improving nicely.
What's more "Classical" then no saddle or stirrups, a la Xenophon?:D
I beg to differ.
The first post is NOT pointless.
Just a word of caution gents.
Stay away from the Cowgirls.
The english saddles are a lot easier to carry.:D
I'll admit to eating quiche. In Lorraine!
Although I do not knit on horseback, it interferes with using other pointy objects.
Like sword or lance. :D
Fixed that. :)
