I have just weaned my 7 month old- it was fairly easy and non-eventful (so far at least!). The mare is 5.5 months pregnant with another foal- will her milk dry up or do you think she'll keep it...

It's a 4 hour haul for me, so a little bit far to become a "friend" of the park, no matter how nice it is. And believe me, I totally appreciate the fact that they exist and can offer opportunities...
