She was definitely "grace under fire". She held it together even though her horse was having none of the dressage ring. I'm wishing her a good, safe run on cross country tomorrow. She deserves...

Allison is just a class act and I am a huge fan. She and Arthur put in a fabulous test, and her approved helmet looked just as fashionable as the top hats. Thank you, Allison for setting an example.

That is wonderful news and glad Jan is able to enjoy Rolex even if she can't ride for now. Hope she is fully recovered very soon. Excellent work, Brian.

Sending more jingles for you sweet girl.

Please note that the dressage tests are the 2010 tests and not the 2009 test.

LOL, my trainer says this all the time about my filly and thank goodness she can take a joke when I am on her. She will give you her opinion, then get on with the program. She is coming five and so...

My mare was an older maiden when I bred her, so one thing I wanted to do was be sure she was fit and hopefully have an easier delivery. After she was bred and ultrasounded to assure she was in foal,...

Will so miss my regular house guests during Maui Jim. I have been a volunteer at MJ for more years than I would like to admit. It has always been a stellar event and the attention to detail was...

Another Tiamo fan/follower, so a huge congratulations to KBG Eventer. Holy cow, can't believe he is 8 y.o. So thrilled that he has a great new home and we will continue to hear updates on this COTH...

Good luck. I had an older maiden (17 y.o.) and she had a textbook pregnancy and delivery. Since I worked outside the home, I did have her at an experienced foaling facility. They called me when...

I have an Amerigo DJ. My mare was a big-boned Dutch/TB cross and the DJ is what Peter Menet (the saddle's designer) recommended for her. It fit like it was custom. I still ride in it with her...

CookiePony: That is exactly what I did several years ago when I was shopping for my jumping saddle. I think I sat in every saddle at Rolex. But, it did narrow the field on which ones were...

Burgie:
Huge Congratulation!!!! Your mare is stunning and I have always loved her. You should be very proud.

So thrilled to see you back on the boards and learn that you are home!!! Such good news about riding in the future. Continuing to send prayers and jingles for a speedy recovery.

That is so wonderful to hear and thank you for sharing your story. Congratulations!!! I think all of us fight demons at some time or another as riders and any time all your hard work comes...

Hi All:
Just wanted to give an update. My boots arrived today and they are just beautiful. Will have to try them on this evening with some breeches to check for fit. Keeping fingers crossed....

So sorry to hear about your mare, but it sounds like she had wonderful care. RIP EM Wrickster.

Wow, how awful, but thankfully her husband was close by. Sending prayers and jingles her way. Hoping for a speedy recovery!!!!

OMG, just read about Suerte. I am so sorry, but glad that you seem to have everything under control. Sending prayers and jingles for this wonderful mare. Hugs to you Gen.

Never. Plus, age has nothing to do with temperament and rideability. There is a 5 y.o. TB at my barn that is calm as can be. He toodles around with his older rider and both are just having a ball.

Yes. I'm 5'2" and my filly is pushing 16.3; it is a necessity. :-)

If you look at pictures of Hawley Bennett, she uses a neck strap on her mare, Gin and Juice (I think that is the horse). She said in an article that this horse can jump her out of the tack. Also,...

What a bad experience. So sorry this happened to you.
I will say that the amount that hit my charge card was exactly what they said it would be. Also, before I made the purchase, I talked with...

Auburn, too funny. Mine is just the opposite -- simple street name but the numbers are weird, 5N475. It even confuses my GPS. Thank goodness I know my way home. :-)
