Wow, great responses. Thank you to all of you. She should be good on tack and bits, then, she rides in a regular eggbutt snaffle with a plain noseband.
Why am I doing hunters? I don't know. ...
We are eventers, but I am taking my daughter to a rated show for practice. I know brown tack, no jumping boots, field boots, no stock ties, tan breeches for hunter, white for EQ. No show bows. ...
If you need any info, I am DC of a pony club in WI.
Thanks for posting, I could use a smile today!
Gravels are the same as abcesses.
I cannot say exactly what is wrong, but I can say that saddle does not fit him. And I think after viewing the pictures from the rear that there is no change to the gullet that will make it fit him...

I second the head &shoulders suggestion, that's what we use.
Drugs and groundwork.
Blugal is right on the money.
His opinion is not consistent with my experience. I have used Legend and saw a big difference in a horse with a stifle injury. Day 1 horse tried to kick my head off. Day 3 horse was sore. Day 7...
You've gotten some good advice, I will only add that it helps to think about what your goal really is. For instance, if they are annoying, you don't really want to take the time and effort to train...

Yes to "the other mother!". A thorough scrubbing and sun is VERY effective.
I clipped my gelding for the first time this summer:no: and I have him on Chaste Tree Berry. I believe it really helps him.. Was recommended by my veterinarian.
Very nicely ridden, Glenbaer!!
WOW,!! Really nice round,
I sure wouldn't put tiana in there, too much trouble on xc. I like the 4 suggestions above, although I think you mean buck on Reggie for team. Individually, I like MLM and Meghan on pirate.
I'm going to agree with Texarkana here. For a TB that needs weight a little bit of soy in feed is really good. Also, whole oats. I've fed them with no problem with horses getting hot. BUT, that...
Equiderma is chlorhexidine and mineral oil. See above comments regarding chlorhexidine/ nolvosan. That's why they work, because they have chlorhexidine.
I did scrape him, but because it's a stock trailer I want him to have the benefit of the evaporation to cool him, we are not in a humid climate.
How many people replace their helmets every two years?!
I had to haul my horse to the vet, a 3 hr trip each way during 95 degree weather. I have an open sided stock trailer, hosed him with really cold water before leaving. Stopped halfway to wet him...
