I know someone who used magnesium chloride in an outdoor to keep it from freezing. It caused a MAJOR problem. It not only kept the footing from freezing it also kept parts of the base from freezing...

An internet search has turned up the following:

I still remember watching Bruce Davidson (must have been 15 years ago) walking back to the barns after a successful Advanced run at Morven Park pulling strands mane out of his gloves and thinking...

I have a roarer. It's mild to moderate. He, like KLS's horse, roars less the fitter he is. He has not had the tie back surgery yet, as it has not been necessary. We completed a long format CCI*. ...

A couple years ago at the Morven CCI* it was very humid (visibly so) and in the mid 70s. Many of the horses were coming off off x/c with temps around 105. Thankfully the organizers had LOTS of ice.

Fair enough?"
To me good customer service (and a welcoming attitude) is...

I recommend what I did. Marry a former professional braider (and riding instructor to boot.) I haven't learned to braid yet (and don't plan too), but being a husband who rides means I never have...

My comment on this.
Has anybody ever looked up Lucinda Green's dressage record?
She was very often well down after dressage, but often made it up in the jumping phases. The things that make a...

When x/c is run immediately after stadium I ride in my cross-country tack (regardless of color.) When stadium is separate I try to keep it formal.

I was contacted by the NYT reporter. She left a message on my home number. I haven't called her back yet. I would prefer to do a bit of research on her first. Eventing certainly doesn't need any...
