Question about "hill work" -

I try to get my mare out at least twice a week in one of our pastures for some "hill work." One pasture definitely has a pretty good sized 'hill' while the other one...

IMO, I'd rather see a nice neat running braid than his mane down for H/J. Although, for a schooling show, you'd be fine if it was combed out neatly.

She is registered as a bay, and to me looks bay. I haven't gotten her tested though, so i guess she could be a chestnut, but I think her color is too mahogany?
