Seems more focused for jumpers but I'm interested. Some of the features - especially adjustable calf are interesting to me - not for showing - just everyday. Anyone have a pair?

I would love it to have:
all of the stable management stuff
details about the horse, breeding, age, owners etc
feeding / turnout requirements

I saw it on the schedule and it's on my way to something else. Anyone been? Can you speak to the show management, facility etc?

I'm an amateur that has been in this situation and don't think it's a crap deal as long as the professional is a capable horse trainer and the goal is to train the horse for sale. In my cases, I...

I was horse-hunting and have been shocked @ exactly this. So many folks have skipped training level and tried to put them in a 2nd level frame on ride 3. I bought a great little horse who is very...

I am new to the midwest as well. I have never heard of the disease and appreciate the heads up.
Very sorry for your loss. Thanks for thinking of the rest of us and sharing your difficult...

i don't have one, but I would say one that doesn't make you cringe walking around in the pasture - but any work would make lame again.

Ok - Can some of you very savvy farm folks please council this newbie. I have my poly-wire fence installed (by someone smarter than me). All I need to do is hook up the fencer I bought @ TSC. I...

Ok - good to hear. I'm in the midwest - so been crazy here too. My poor horse does not do great in the heat though, so he's really suffering now. Will they actually finish shedding?!?!? Or is it...

Ok, my horse has shed a great deal, but his coat is still much linger and thicker than it normally is this time fo year. There are no wavy hairs on his legs which I understand to be a sure sign of...

Good Luck!

Callaway - would you use vienna reins at all?
For all - I understand the difference of how the Gogue and the Chambon look - but what is the difference in the action on the horse?
-
I would love to hear what you have done to get extra room in yours. Mine do have a "window" of softer leather on the inside of the leg - so I'm hoping it's actually possible . . .
I have the...

I just googled. is that the same as German Martingale. If not, what are the differences - photos look the same . . .

thanks. What is a market harborough?
-
Thanks Callaway. In the case I've described, would you lunge in side reins to address some of the later stiffness? Or stick with the gogue to avoid the fixed nature of the side reins? the trainer...

What ridley scott film is KOH?
-
Yes - I'd forgotten. I have used draw reins in that way before. I was riding a horse for someone who wanted him to learn to go on trails. He had barely been out of his stall or the indoor. On the...

Agree on all counts with Easy Street. Our debate is really about trainers using them when re-schooling horses who were badly started / ridden by their owners. Is it EVER ok? Or do you think any...

Having hearty debate @ my barn. I'm very interested in getting feedback from others. We all have lots of examples of where it went wrong. Would like to hear more about when it went right . ..

There was a Pine Sol thread. Would love to hear what else people use that has worked for them.

I am feeling more encouraged and will discuss many of your ideas with my vet. I know am really grateful for the feedback I get on COTH.

There's one on the original link @ the very bottom. The one @ my horse's farm is prettier - but same idea.
There is a picture here,
