I personally don't like any Aussie brands but the ones from the Australian Stock Saddle Company. I have three from them and have sold Down Unders for fitting issues- would not fit any horse I tried...

I've done 4 ACTHA rides this year with one of my rescue horses who has only been trained by me and we are doing OK in the Pleasure division- mostly we were up tying for 6th and then we just got a 4th...

I buy my hay at Giles in Georgetown, getting anywhere from a dozen to 50 bales at a time.

I get the mixed grass hay and both the price and the quality are pretty steady ($3.95/bale for nice...

Most shelters and vets are not upgrading until they have to, they don't have the funds.

I'm pretty sure there are a lot of small towns here in KY that don't have a reader at all....

As I said, personally I think a finder should be doing these things, too, not just what is required by law. But if the owner has not alerted anyone, how can a finder help with reuniting the animal?

In both Florida and Kentucky (last I checked when I worked for shelters) you are considered the legal owner of an animal if you have cared for it for 7 days and put a Found ad in the newspaper...

Sadly it turns out that not all Bengals are valued at $1000 and probably would not really be missed if they went AWOL.

She looks kinda like a Bengal cat. They have some very interesting coat colors and spot patterns. Also very independent and quite the characters I understand!

Its really far away from Lexington is why and in the boonies even for a smaller town. It would likely be a 45 minute drive to Lex depending on where you need to end up.
