I'd be pissed if my horse's feed/hay allowances were changed without my consent. Hay prices rise, but they definitely needed to tell you if they were running out of hay WHEN they figured out they...

I've used injectable reserpine quite a few times with horses in rehab that are starting back hand-walking, and I have never seen an adverse reaction. I think it's fairly safe. Also, in my...

Thanks everybody. I mentioned that idea to our vet. That is not something I'd considered. They are a bit bigger than the conventional neckworm lumps, and there is no itching or hair loss in...

I had kind of thought they were from trauma as well. My first thought was our hay feeders. But that theory became questionable when I realized that some of the horses that have the lumps have...
  7. Lumps appearing on horses' necks -- HELP!

We have some odd-looking lumps appearing on our horses' necks. Some are small and mushy, some are very hard. They do not seem sensitive to palpation, but I am still worried about them.

    Anyone...

It really depends on your riding skill, and your willingness to do some of the grunt work. I got a job at a school riding & teaching that pays pretty well, with housing, but I had ridden and showed...

    Fit of Tailored Sportsmans

Does anyone wear Tailored Sportsman's because they have to but hate the fit of them?

I wear a size 28 long, and all of the pairs are pretty tight in the waist, and loose in the legs. If I go up...

How about a french link D ring snaffle?

We have a few heavier warmbloods that I will school in a 3 ring, and show in that bit. It probably wouldn't do that job on its own -- but if you switch it...

    Hello all!

I went to watch the Hunter Derbys at Swan Lake last week, and found the judging to be a little off.

Did anyone else watch/compete and notice this?
