My braider HATES a knob top. I had one like that, called this lady:
She gave me a credit from my old tail toward a new one of my choosing.
Consider hunters like figure skating. There are a minimum number of elements that must be completed cleanly before style comes into play. It doesn't matter one bit of peanuts if your horse jumps the...
Either way, placed below a horse with changes and the step.
For just board?
This number includes lessons from my experience.
Yup, you need to seek out the Wicket and Craig American Leather specifically. It is not their "top of the line" oddly enough. They come new with the same look as a new edgewood (raw leather).
For a price conservative figure 8, I'd go Ovation Wicket and Craig American leather figure 8. Lining my edgewood next to my ovation, you can hardly tell a difference.
I tried out SP bridles a few...
Surely you don't have 10 years on me! I know reading this thread I was feeling a little like the old lady on the porch shaking my stick and yelling to "get of my damned lawn."

dreams, all dreams
Congrats on getting the contract!!!
Biggest thing we are lacking is a show facility. If we had a real show facility in the Austin area it would be a game changer.

Marleta died just over a year ago (I think). Kersten has taken full ownership of the business and has created a new barn name, Esoteric.

Exactly. Literally coming out of college I specifically pursued a career that would eventually lead to the flexibility to allow me to horse show. I did not become a doctor or a vet for the only...

It's so rider specific and what their goals are, where they're located, how long of a commute they're interested in.
First one that comes to mind is...
Cat is out of the bag. No going back now. Can't email Molly and say NEVERMIND I'M DUMB I TAKE IT ALL BACK.
Cue panic card.
I am so hotly debated!
100% agree, but that is my form of "cutting" costs....all of the above. So when asked how I make it work my response is...
Flexible Job to stay in Welly (damn you work for flying me elsewhere...
Funny enough, when I alluded several times on here that I felt like the only "working" rider in the world, I got lambasted about how many working riders there are. So my experience directly is not...
I do have flexibility to work from basically anywhere (until they put me on a plane for a client), but no trust fund, no supplemental income. I do lease my black horse but that's only a small...
I am hesitant to share my numbers exactly, but 4 weeks in welly world is budgeted under 5 figures for me.
I did 3 weeks last year and came in under budget.
So, based on the responses here I have honestly been afraid to respond myself, given that I am a person who has chosen to spend my dollars on going to WEF.
I drive my own horse, take my...
