Hugs and jingles for you. I only wish I could do more for you; I've been there with my dad and it's not easy.
Llee, hugs to you, too.
Oh, this is so cute, I think my brain asploded! :D :D
The first knuckle on my left index finger now has a permanent bend of about 10-15 degrees. It won't straighten or bend to a greater degree at all and it hurts like a sonovabitch when the weather...
H'm. Some variation of mallet finger, then? I couldn't bend my finger at all when I had my accident (horse was bucking and I jammed my finger on his neck); too stupid to realize it was more than a...
You might have torn the extensor tendon, which can result in mallet finger if not treated. (Ask me how I know.) I'd call the doctor and ask if you can be seen if I were you.
Yay, Bodie! Jingles for more poop, and that all is well!
Come on, Bodie! We want poop!
MAJOR congrats to you!
LOTS and LOTS of jingles from Wisconsin, and lots of hugs for you, too! I'll keep both of you in my prayers. Hoping for the best possible outcome.
I wonder if Viagra is one of the reasons that TPTB started reading a voiceover of medications' major side effects on TV. Because, you know, men never read the directions. ;)
I wish I could be a part of that-- it looks like so much fun and such excellent flatwork for both horse and rider.
Meezer... my Siamese's coat is so soft and sleek and "close", if you know what I mean. Yet it's still incredibly soft and silky and just glides under my hand when I pet him.
This is great-- thanks for posting it! I sent it to friends, too. :)
My horse gets MSM; he's fifteen and was shown in the hunters o/f a lot when young (before I got him at nine), so it's just a preventative. I read here on COTH that it's one of the few supps that...
Agree with the others that cutting it will only risk giving you a scar! Warm compresses are much safer.
Another thing you might want to try is zinc oxide. I had some nasty cystic pimples when I...
Lots of jingles and prayers from Wisconsin! Please keep us updated. Good friends are so very, very precious. ***hugs to you***
That's absolutely fantastic!!! Enormous congrats to you!!!
The cheapest Suave shampoos, not the fancier ones, for ordinary baths. I have a bottle of some berry-scented bluing shampoo if he needs to look super-clean for some reason (my horse is grey).
Ahem. If you're a librarian, you're just happy to see one portrayed as someone other than an overweight, crabby, greyhaired woman with glasses on a chain "SHHH"ing someone furiously!
She had to iron UNDERWEAR? And SOCKS?? You must be joking.
How on earth do you even iron UNDERWEAR and SOCKS????
Bless you for fulfilling that little girl's dream! And you know that saying-- "Every horse should be loved by a little girl at least once in its life".
How'd all that dust get in my eyes?
Good grief! If the OP wants to meet someone, I think she should go for it! And good for you, OP, for joining that comedy group-- much better than sitting around doing nothing. Life is about doing...
Electric dryers were invented so you don't have to iron sheets!
I'm so glad the only little ones are nephews now. One of whom sliced open his finger with a razor blade Christmas Eve, from the "Survival Kit in a Sardine Can" he received in the oh-so-hilarious...
