"Maybe so many couldn't."
Maybe they need to go back to basics and learn how to do them.
I rode hunters back in the late '70's and early '80's. We always had a line with a vertical,...

Number 1, I would be very upset that something is running through a barn and the Vet has not been out to see what it is!
Number 2, I would not start giving antibiotics, until the Vet had...

At the KHP, you have to have at least 5 bags of shavings, because the stalls are on asphalt.
Lately, I have been bringing 3 bags and a bale of straw. The straw keeps it comfy and the shavings...

I think that it would depend on the length of your thigh. My friend is 5'8", with a long thigh bone. She needed the extra forward flap to accomedate the length of her thigh.
I would measure...

For a couple of years, I have been giving Tess a squirt a day of the liquid Hyluan. She is 14 years old. I had base line digital xrays done on her hocks last Fall. There is very little joint...

I had an issue with the AEC's, which were held at Chatt Hills in 2011. I was angry enough that I filled out a USEA event evaluation form and one for Area3. I received no feedback from either of...

My prayers are with all of the humans and animals, who are in such distress.:sadsmile:

Chatt Hills is nothing, if not elitist. JMHO
Having qualified for the AEC's three years and attended two of those, I thought the venue lovely, but highly overpriced. When I saw that they were...

I am a fan of Doug and his string of horses. I have not seen him listed as riding in any events lately, so I did a USEA search. He has not evented since Fair Hill in April.
I love Royal...

Maybe he doesn't like the closer fit around his fetlock and pastern?
I used to use the BOT no bows in back and the wrap boots in front. This spring, the BOT's were 15% off, so I bought the...

Does he have this behavior as soon as you put them on him?
The directions say to start by leaving them on for 20 minutes, then gradually working up to longer time periods. If you have left them...

Are you the person who is adopting her? If so, lucky you!
-
I have been using Quiessence and EquiShure on my mare for a couple of years. I find that the Quiessence helps her focus and the EquiShure has kept things moving through her gut, which has low gut...

You might have better luck posting this over in the Horse Care section. That is where the farriers hang out. ;)
Of course, you will need to be ready to have photos of both hind hooves, with all...

Nice horse! What is his JC name?
I would keep him and have fun! If you want the money for your already made Prelim horse, then please sell him to me?
Which state is Athens? GA, OH, AL?

Yep. I saw her last week. I said, "I want her!" They said, she already has someone who is adopting her. I ask them everytime that I call, as I am still waiting for approval, if she has left yet?...
-
I do not know. You have to fill out the adoption application, before they will tell you. However, it is tax deductable (I believe), so worth whatever for a nice horse.

Way to ride that jump into the water!
Nice horse.

Since nobody has answered you, I will try.
On top, your horse has Runaway Groom and Relaunch.
On the bottom, there is Sadlers Wells, Roberto and Princequillo.
All of these horses seem to produce...

Wow! Great news, indeed!

Shoot. I always worried about running Tess back to back at BN.
3* to Advanced, back to back, is just way too much. JMHO. They must have some magic potion to keep them sound? :sigh:

When were the first set of xrays taken?
If it has been some time, then, if you are really in love with this horse, I would have them taken again for comparison.
Good luck!

Yesterday, my adoption approval came through for New Vocations. I have had my paperwork in at the Secretariat Center for a week. I just called them. They said that my "Equine Professional" had not...

Well, if someone on COTH bought him, then I wish them well. It is sad to believe that someone would do that, but it was a chance that I was willing to take to have COTH'ers experienced eyes help me....

Yay! My posts are finally showing up. :)
I went up to see the horse the first day that it was posted. I tried to get it vetted that day, but I could not get any Vets from Lebanon Equine to come...
