My best bud will be in the TR division. She just started eventing a year ago! I'm so proud of her.
I wasn't qualified so...maybe some other year.
As usual I'll be there braiding.
I wear two sports bras a day at work. (EMS)
I have one real bra that I love. So on the off chance I wear normal clothes it gets worn.
The sports bras get washed after each wear of course.
That's CRAZY! I can't imagine a horse eating nightshade. Aside from the thorns it's supposed to be very bitter.
And the owner saying there has never been a nightshade issue before. B.U.L.L....
there is no comparison.
Ulcergard/Gastrogard are the only thing that really work.
I've not had luck with Ambler product at all even though everyone "says" the blue coating should protect them.
the ONLY thing that works.
have seamsright make you one.
I use them other tie thangs...
They are made so when the horse pulls back they give. You have to have a special lead rope too though otherwise the give is too easy...
I use nylon braided lead...
That real pretty grey GP mare that was touring a few years back...the one who would ring her tail the entire test.
That tail ringing drove me NUTS. I couldn't even watch a test by her.
Here is a pic of one with listening ears, not pinned ears.
Drove me nuts. Would be a more lovely photo with pricked ears!! lol.
But you can't fault a horse for listening. : /
I pay up to $3000 for a nice TB.
I'd pay $2500 for the lovely chestnut.
You guys know I drool big time over PC horses. She looks very typical. And is the kind of horse I like to buy for...
you should be fine. PRP and shockwave are the way to go. Don't be a rush to get back.
I don't see why you won't be back to same level and you should be able to do whatever you want. : ) chin up!
I think pretty much every omnibus listing usually says no outside shaving.
I never really understood that.
Also, the stalls at TRHP are huge. You need a gazillion bags of shavings. Last year...
Sadly, I have a whole reel of them. The funnies are my favs though.
The only one that is missing is of Toby--high centered over a SJ fence. The crew had to come and unbuild the jump for him. I...
I actually don't see any difference in that horse's expression (from EN) from dressage vs. show jumping. I don't think he looks happy in SJ either. I think he has an ulcer expression in both.
scrub with Bernadine 2x a day...
pick off the scabs and douse with Bernadine again.
then put on furizone 2x a day.
If you can, it will go away faster if you wrap and keep areas...
You can put both reins on the outside. I do it sometimes to one of our horses who likes to hang really really bad on the right rein. When I go right I put both reins on the left side of his neck....
hold that one rein like a driving rein when left is on the inside. Flip your hand back to normal when left is on the outside.
I do the same thing but with my right hand.
But also, I'm weaker in...
I love big fat rosettes on a good neck. It seems to be the trend in the dressage arena.
Personally, this new 4* eventing trend, to have a bunch of little buttons for dressage is gross. I don't know...
Personally, I wish we could just micro chip ourselves.
I like Rimrock.
Old Devil Moon works with his JC pedigree...
Winchester is the name of my black mini donkey. Though we usually just call him "donkey".
as an EMT I can tell you that we need:
and any crazy pre existing conditions (Like diabetes...)
Everything else can be acquired at the hospital from the SSN.
I have an opposite opinion from your farrier.
When horses land yes their front feet will slide a little. Often we turn on landings though...
When a horse lands and the front feet stick, if the...
Nothing helpful to say...
but I do have a complaint. I love figure 8s. I have yet to find one that fits correctly. Especially if it has the fixed rings.
I would say if you have a figure 8...
