We had a large group go to Pony Club Champs, so we rented a house. Look at VRBO.com
If you are in TX it is my understanding that horses cannot be moved even if it's to another quarantined facility. I am also not aware of any "preventative" for VS.
I agree with the other posters,...
I have a small boarding stable in the China Grove/Adkins area that meets your criteria. Send me a PM if you would like more information.
Sorry, just saw this. I'm about 30 minutes from Lackland depending on traffic. I'm four miles from 410 & I-10 on the eastside. Spindletop isn't boarding anymore. I'd try T Slash Bar.
I second the pony club and or FFA route.
I use Daily Omegas Plus from SmartPak. It's their version of PP. The palate-ability is better and it's cheaper. For horses on a full ration of grain I feed only half the recommended dose. My horses...
I'm on the east side of San Antonio and we have large pastures. Limerick Stables

I'm trying to find a saddle for my 15 year old daughter. There are no stores nearby for us to go try different saddles at. Her previous saddle was a 16.5 Collegiate Diploma. She started to outgrow it...
Hill work & backing up a slope I have near the barn. I also do lots of lateral work.
Two different vets gave me different loading doses, so now I'm confused.
Vet #1 & the Adequan recommended schedule is 7 shots, one every 4 days & then monthly. This was for an older horse with...
Candace McCall http://www.preventionfirstvet.com or Jake Wells at Cibolo Valley Animal Hospital. Both are vets that do chiro. If you need a good massage therapist to go with the chiro...I can't say...
We moved to our own property last fall & I'm having issues with the small flies that like to bite & leave sores on their bellies and bot flies. Any suggestions?
Try the Rembrandt or Classic saddles with the Wellup adjustable trees. They've worked well on the TBs I've had.
Since our horses are on pasture my vet advised to feed it at half the recommended dosage.
Ditto on the SmartPak version!
Our instructors are paid as independent contractors. They tell us what schedule they're willing to work and we book the lessons since most students use lesson horses and call the main number....
I encourage my students to go to camps & clinics, I think they can learn something from everyone. If they come away with another "tool for the toolbox" no time was wasted. I do however have rules...
Dawn dish washing soap. It cuts through the "gunk" yet is gentle on the skin.
You need to look in south Texas. A friend just bought an older aluminum/fiberglass 2H straight with dressing room for 3K. It needs a bit of work, but nothing major.
Here's a link to the code for the state of GA
I'm wanting to start using it in our turnout areas in conjunction with our predators. Especially around the round bale holders (where they poop & pee) to cut down on flies. I'm not interested in...
