Get one of the hard, folding kind. That's what we have on our pickup. It's pretty much waterproof, and can't be opened unless you unlock the tailgate. And it is nice to use because it does fold...
So you had to replace the gas, and I assume the sprayer, as well? So that's probably half of the price of the cover right there. Investing in one will save you money. :)
As the person who is the taste-test dummy :), any of the Greek style yogourts that I have sampled are not to my liking. Too salty. You can make your own, similar to Greek, by putting yogourt in...
Not sold yet. There may be a bidding war brewing. :)
Actually, the calls started right after the Curlin, but everybody just sat until the Travers. The offer has essentially doubled, and that was only the first couple. ;)
Just got of the phone with our trainer (who is also a partner). His phone started ringing as soon as the results were declared official. :)
Happy, happy, joy, joy! :) :) :)
I'm rooting for V.E. Day. We own his full sister, a 2 y.o. :)
Why the heck would you build more power plants when Canada pays you to take our excess power? Meanwhile, our bills are astronomical, but do we get a break? :(
Well, V.E. Day has been entered for the Travers Stakes this coming Saturday. Hope he does well! The parties interested in our filly have been warned that if he finishes in the top three, her price...
How about Secret Agent Man? Always sounds like Secret Asian Man to me. :)
On the highways around here, the bus drivers pull off to the shoulder to let the line up of vehicles pass when it gets too long. Safer for them in the long run, as well. :)
If you really want to know, go to the Color section in the Pedigree Query forums. Jorge, who is the color guru, will be able to give you some insight.

And here's another question, and the answer. Why do rappers 'rap'? Because they don't know how to sing! ;)
My good news has to do with my racing partnership. Last Friday, the 3. y.o. full brother to our 2 y.o. filly won the Curlin Stakes at Saratoga, and is probably headed to the Travers now. The 'is she...
We are rather happy in this house tonight. V.E. Day, who won the Curlin Stakes today at Saratoga, is the full brother to our (me, and two partners) 2 y.o. filly, English Sunset. She's in training...
Goes on up here, as well. Helps with those insider bets. :(
Yup, because of Sir Wilfred. ;)
The best dog I ever owned was a pit/lab cross that we adopted from our local SPCA at four months of age. Never bothered the horses, would even go into their stalls and clean up any dropped feed,...
We have 'where's willy?' here in Canada. We get a few of them coming through the cash at work every now and then.
My daughter is addicted to these shows. :) We are always telling her that the 'mother' ship is going to come and get her some day.
She, being a makeup artist, was offered a freelance job about...
Thank you, thank you, thank you! :)
I have this posted at work. 'Respect...there's an app for that. It's called putting down the phone and looking at the person speaking to you.' ;)
Look for 'All Hat'. It's horse related, and even stars Graham Greene. The racing scenes were filmed up here at Fort Erie, and when I asked a former trainer of mine how he could get involved with a...
