I've been tossing around the idea of a mini horse as a companion, so I've been looking at CL. Miniature horse ads all about KYOOT and most don't mention the vital details such as age, height, etc.
I've posted this before, but Amira sent me the wrong color helmet once, and a two year old helmet another time. Both times, I took a long time to reach me, and the helmet was shipped from overseas...
I took them for a while for the same reason and had the same experience and opinion as you did. Big MEH all the way around. Not enough benefit to make it worth taking a daily medication.
When spouse & I were poor young newlyweds and we lived in a lower-income neighborhood, the neighbors were MUCH friendlier and more apt to offer help whenever they saw a need.
I missed them a lot...
You mean this time it wasn't your usual drive-by to post a link we've all already seen elswhere? :)
In addition to her other odd claims, she admits she has had ongoing health and income issues in the "News" section of her website. Not sure why she needs so many horses, or why she kept breeding what...
The Big D Style, Big D Blankets have a unique cutback over the withers:
Been using them on both my horses for years because they don't...
There are several young horses and babies at my current stable by the Hanovarian stallion Wellesley that are nice hunters and super easy & quiet/non spooky.
My Dutch mare isn't spooky, but she's...
Was just musing about this subject this the other day. Mailbox bashing used to be very popular, but thankfully, hasn't happened in my area for years. Is it possibly due the Internet and games...
The Vikings didn't look like Vikings, either, IMO.
It was too slow to watch after just having finished Game of Thrones.
Our neighbors have two mini donks which are silent for the most part, but my God, the racket when they sound off!
Luckily, their noise is much more hilarious than annoying :D
My first time at Thermal (my first horse show, actually) and we had a blast :)
Yes. We were in the same classes at Thermal. She's very pretty.
Agree with Caryledee. I took my horse to a lameness specialty clinic and told them my budget, and they were careful to work within it. They gave me a firm diagnosis and a treatment outline. It was...
Oh, that's nice! I just bought a replacement Speed Air today. Wish I'd have seen this first.
Life of Pi. Sorry, just not my cup of tea. Started off well, but veered off into the boring.
Smartpak offers their Antares in a variety of seat and flap configurations. You can probably find a combination that will work well for you.
Use the freshest catnip you can find as bait. Works far better than food.
Whole Foods is supposed to be all wholesome and natural, but they have aisles and aisles of single serving foods, each item wrapped in wasteful plastic bubble packaging. Huh.
I have a white and a pink sunshield shirt. Love them. I wish Smartpak made them in more pastel colors, I'd buy them all.
Just finished watching it.
While some seemed to be disappointed with the final episode, I thought it was absolutely perfect.
Exactly what I do. It really works!

If you keep an eye on Craigslist, you can find decent-sized paddocks (but no pasture) available in people's back yards in Orange Park Acres. Otherwise, yes - be prepared to drive to Chino Hills.
The series started off great, but over time, Scarpetta became too angsty and the incredibly wealthy and brilliant James Bond Lucy got silly and tiresome.
