Part of the problem may be that the weather in Area II was soooo wet for so long. A lot of people have been waiting to see how the footing might be. I know this affected the entries at Morven Park...
I think the difference really is a cross canter vs. a counter canter. Being on what a hunter judge would call the "wrong lead" is not nearly as imbalanced as a cross canter. A horse can jump and be...
I've always loved that horse. Jingles!
Unfortunately not true. I studied Arabic for eight years and get around Damascus without a map. Applied for dozens of jobs in Washington. Got a few acknowledgements of my resume being received, and...
They're oldies but goodies. I have one and it was probably my fifth -- and by far least expensive -- dressage saddle choice, and it was the best one. I love them.
I love that pair. I always root for them wherever they are.
Oops, you're right. I also realize that the OP is in NC, not PA. Okay, I'm a ditz. In any case, the United States Equine Rescue League is based in NC, and they have donkeys. In fact, just about every...
There are a lot of rescues in your area -- Peaceful Valley Donkey rescue has a Pennsylvania location. Try www.peacefulvalley.org. I'm sure they'll have several that would meet your needs.
You're right. In the other pictures, it doesn't look that way at all. She's probably ust stretching out in the first picture. Any luck finding her a home?
Sounds like you'd have a good chance finding these guys a home, but you need to tell us where the horses are. Also, a link to some pictures is always useful.
Yay, glad she got a good home. Now I can go save a different one.
Pretty girl. I know NOTHING about this breed. Her back looks very long. Is that the breed, or is it just me? Regardless, she's very cute.
I just looked at the site, and it kind of breaks my heart. I wish I was good enough to train a horse. I love Taco ... and I love the name!
Just wondering if anyone ever heard back about these guys.
There are so many horse rescues that need these types of things, like Days End, in Lisbon, MD, or Horsenet, also in MD, or Lost and Found Horse Rescue in PA. I think you could just send them as a...
but haven't received a response. I'd be interested in checking this guy out.
Just curious .. are you looking for more of a cuddler?
... and a bump.
I'd like to help find these guys a good home.
I think most people who would take in cats already have some. If you know their situation for sure, maybe you could let them go to a house with cats. I know that I would take them, but I have two.
I have a ton of horse books I could donate. Please send me your details as well. Thanks!
I hope some of the people here who were interested in the mare look at places like PetFinder and other horse rescues. You'd be amazed at how many NICE, sound, rideable horses need new homes.
Hi, if you want him, I will probably come south in the winter, and I can volunteer to trailer him from Georgia to Louisiana. Let me know if this will help out.
I just sent you another PM. Plesae get in touch. I'm interested in seeing her.
Judy, where are you located?
Is she still available? thanks!
