    I think a bute trial would be a good idea and rule out pain and have the horse evaluated by a lameness vet FIRST before continuing with this horse.

    He doesn't need to be turned out 24/7 but needs to be out more than he's in. That said the spring grass is going to make him loopy because of the high sugars in the new grass.

    I would look at hoof balance. My gelding used to stand this way... getting his toes back and his heels where they need to be (he gets LTLH's fast if not kept after) he now stands nice and square :)

    I think it's just a by-product as I get the same...

    I think it's just a by-product as I get the same thing. I also LOVE sticky rice, but switched to brown in an attempt to be healthier. It was hard to get used to at first but now I prefer it.
